Yay today is the 1st December.

Now I know some people arrive this month and I know some people don’t arrive to the very end of Jan...

But as it’s now December I can point out that all of us will be in Disney at some point Next Month - and that has definitely made me smile

I was excited to wake up and realize we will be at Disney next month! Even though we are the end of the month, so that is still awhile. I cannot wait!

My group is down to 2 weeks, 6 days before we leave! I will be traveling with all my in-laws for the week of Christmas, and then just DH and the kids (and me of course!) are staying for a 2nd week. Did my online check-in this morning, got memory-maker paid for and set up to share with all the adults in the group, started my packing lists. AAAHHHH!!!! Tomorrow is the last day to personalize our MBs, but those have been done for over a month now. I'm cleaning the house like a maniac because I have so.much.to.get.done. before we leave and our nephew comes to house-sit for us.

1 Week until the MagicBands ship out, getting close.... we haven't told my daughter, we've been careful not to discuss it at all when she's home, but I have a sneaking suspicion that SHE has a sneaking suspicion. Either that or the Disney magic of the universe is helping to set up our surprise. Since we went to Disney last time (Mar '16) she has only occasionally mentioned WDW again, usually after seeing a commercial for the parks. The last few weeks since we purchased our trip, however, it has been almost daily. Every commercial, movie trailer, certain songs, anything disney we see when we're out shopping, just about everything has her talking about wanting to go to WDW again. I'm sooooo terrible about surprises and gifts, I can never wait as long as I'm supposed to, so every time she asks it makes it that much harder to not just be like, "OKAY, We're going!"

I found a place on line that has free printables for a Disney count down chain. It goes up to 30 days, which is about high my son can count, so I am going with it! Besides, I love the name of the website: https://www.reasonstoskipthehousework.com/disney-countdown-chain/

I weighed in at 152 this morning!!! 43 lbs lost. Over the moon. New goal for Disney vacation is 140/145 (I’ll take either and be thrilled).

I'm so jealous! I'm counting the days until we can tell our DD! 21 til we tell her and 56 til we leave I hate to wish time away but omigosh, I'm struggling!

Got our email confirmation this morning that our magic bands have SHIPPED! WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!! I'll have to keep an eye on tracking and make sure I can intercept the mail before my 12 year old that day. I don't need him asking me a bunch of questions.

That's amazing well done you you should be very proud at that is quite an achievement.


Also my son's new passport arrived today which is a relief, as with my inlaw visiting this weekend we be able to get our ESTA Visas so we be all set for our trip.

Ours came on Saturday, it comes in a very generic box, with no mention of Disney on the outside. You should be able to deflect, that it is something else.

52 days! And this is just a few days after a 2 week honeymoon. Fortunate to work freelance to take days off any time, unfortunate side is that i often find myself working on vacation a bit anyway. Still, would rather work in disney than at home!

This might be a sign that for Disney it might not be "Too Busy" in January (Disney ranges from OMG Busy to busy but you know not too Busy lol )

So excited 43 days and counting - just keeping my fingers crossed for the weather I'm happy with anything over 60 just as long as it sunny; as it's set to get colder in the UK so might need some post Christmas Sunshine
