I love credit cards so much!

I have seen the DP of DVC dues counting as Travel on the CSR. Does this hold true for an annual pass purchase through the DVC member site? Thanks!

The annual pass purchase goes through the Disney site, not the DVC site when you are buying online. You can start on the DVC site but it redirects you to the Disney site. Not sure what happens when you call. I've also heard that dues count as travel.

Yes he’s under 5/24 and only one of any credit card ...The Chase Disney opened in his name ever...lol...I’ve always added him as an authorized user on mine...before I found this thread...now I know better....
We leave for a vacation Saturday...now realizing even if he was approved instantly the card probably wouldn’t arrive in time, so will probably just hold off until we return.

Just want to make sure you’re counting all cards on which DH is an AU that were opened in the last 24 months. Chase’s automated approval system will count AUs on cards less than 24 months old against DH.

Thanks...if he’s approved today, do you think it would arrive by Friday...I expedited mine, but my hubby will not call

Probably not. Chase takes 7-10 days. He can authorize you to speak for him or you can pretend to be him. I have pretended to be my SO. One time a rep was suspicious and grilled me with security questions because I’m a female and he is a male, but it worked out fine. Honestly, it makes me a bit uncomfortable, but lots of people here pretend to be their spouse.

I do the same thing. Many security questions later they give up. Then I think to myself, I doubt DH could even answer the security questions himself. :P

Plastiq is asking for an invoice for my mortgage payment on my cip. The payee cashier fooled them once but the second month is prompting verification. Any ideas?

Welcome to the club. It is not a fun club. Just ignore it and you can try and add it again under a different category if you want to take a risk. I am giving that a go this month...made it a "utility." I'm not really expecting it to work. :headache:

Almost done on the spend for my CIP, and would like to refer my husband...last Chase or any credit card opened in his name was 3/24...a Disney visa....do you think it’s ok to apply for the CIP now ?

If he only had that one card ever then he should be good to go. Good luck!

Calling our SW flyers who have used URs for flights.....I have a friend who has the CSP and is wanting to book SW flights for her WDW trip in November. I know this can vary based on dates, but I'm trying to recall if it's a better deal to use her UR to book the flights thru Chase or transfer UR to SW and book that way. I know there has been discussion on this here. I just don't recall what the outcome was, as I've always just used our RR points. She does not have any SW cards and I'm not even going to try to explain any of SW or CP stuff to her, so I'll stick to using her UR to book the flights.

You have to check the math each time. I agree with @amalone1013 that it is generally nice to transfer the points to RR so you have the flexibility to change/cancel/etc and get points back instead of a credit.

Yes he’s at 4/24 with the authorized users added in...

If someone has a minute can you see if your UR portal is being weird. I have been trying since Friday with no luck. Each time I search WDW hotels I get this normal list:Screen Shot 2018-06-18 at 2.07.13 PM.png

Then I click on a resort to get to room selection and I get this:Screen Shot 2018-06-18 at 2.07.05 PM.png

It is making me crazy. Only WDW resorts are doing it.

Lol..just did the application and got the 30 day message..so we will see....if he’s approved at least it will be there when we return and we can use it for our big July 4th BBQ

I remember some here saying they prefer Sam's over Costco... does anyone do the Sam's Plus membership, with the $10 back on every $500 and free shipping and find it worth it?

I went with MIL this weekend to get our cards and we walked around and price checked, there's quite a few things that are a little cheaper than Costco and a few that are a good amount cheaper. But Sam's is 30mins away and Costco is 5mins. I'm tempted by the shipping, it seems like quite a bit ships to your house.

That’s happening to me too. I just did random dates in December it was showing hotels as available and then when I clicked it said none available.

My new amex personal spg account that I opened 4/16 promptly reported to my credit reports on 6/16.

I couldn’t do that to my wife’s 5/24 count, and I’m kind of regretting it!

But same. Both my MB Plat and SPG personal opened in April reported about 2 months after approval, just after the second statements cut.
