Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Anyone have an idea how Coronado Springs Resort Tower CL is going to be like? This is the first moderate resort with a CL so I’m not sure if it’s worth booking or not...

In the past, for a little while, CSR had an offering called business class. The new level is called club level, so I think calling it CL means it will be more like the other hotels.

The prior business level opened at 7am (no coffee at 6:30am). They had breakfast- same as all CL's. They had chips + salsa out for the rest of the day. They had a few more items during afternoon/appetizer hour. It might have been cheese+ veggies? I also recall that they had ranch dressing out during appetizer hours. Maybe it was veggies and ranch dressing? I think they also had trail mix or something similar.

They had all the non-adult hot + cold beverages of other CL's. For adult beverages, I recall they had sangria. I think they had beer and maybe one kind of wine, but less variety than other CL's.

I anticipate the new CL will also trend towards the hotel theme of Mexican, but that is just my hunch.

CSR Business Class was open 7-10am for breakfast; closed all day; reopened from 5-10pm for light appetizers. It was wonderful for what it was, but certainly not Club Level!! We referred to it as "CL Lite"!

From everything I've heard, the Tower Club Level will be a true CL! I guess we'll find out in July when the first guests report back! ;) (DH & I are booked in early August!)

Congrats on the BB! I agree about BWI CL. We are trying YC CL in June, but BWI is definitely on the list for another trip. We had a such a great stay last year that I can't wait to go back. Have fun planning your return trip to BWI CL :wizard:.
Thanks much... sooo looking forward to it. Found out we will be going during the Star Wars opening frenzy... figure it will just open up the other parks even more!!!

I agree that it is going to be a true CL. The old Business Class was an extra $50 per night. A Tower Standard View Club Level room is between $112-$126 more per night than a Tower Standard View without CL. That is on par with the difference in the other CLs we are all used to.

Just to clarify, in the case of at least some of he other resorts, Nespresso starts around 7am.

At CR, I was only able to get regular coffee at 6:30am. The Nespresso machine was turned on some time between 6:30-7am, but closer to 7am.

I'm also rather certain at WL there was only coffee with cream at 6:30am. I think the CM's let me use the Nespresso machine slightly before 7am, but said food didn't start until 7am, so I think they asked me not to get in the way of staff setting up, and not to take food before 7am. I didn't notice the exact time, but few other people were around before 7am.
Poly's set up is different and the coffee is accessible earlier, all hours I think. PP was asking about Poly specifically in their question.
Can anyone comment if at the Poly the Nespresso machine is available when the lounge isn't officially open? I recall reading that sometimes the fridge with a few sodas is, but not sure about the Nespresso machine.

Correct. Poly’s large/different style Nespresso machine is never really turned off and they leave the pucks/supplies/cups out overnight. Accurate as of late Dec/early Jan. The only other CL with that same style machine is AKL, not sure what they do there overnight.

After some fine tuning, I think I've figured out my max lounge utilization for my 7 night stay (4 BC and 3 GF):
  • Breakfast: 7x
  • Afternoon snacks: 5x
  • Evening appetizers: 4x
  • GF Tea: 2x
  • Dessert: 5x
I wish I could get another evening app in there, but arrival day is out because of the FP+ I have, one night I will be in CityWalk for Blue Man Group and planned on having dinner there, and the last is a Yachtsman ADR with a custom birthday cake ordered. I could probably pop-in before Yachtsman, but it will be my first time there so IDK that I want to fill up prior :)

I am so happy the AP discount allowed me to upgrade both my original discounted reservations for a total of $188.80 more than I was originally paying. We will easily make all that back. I am only slightly sad that Disney is releasing new cute mugs when I have 100 of the old ones and won't need rapid refill drinks. There is always next time!

I definitely think you did the right thing. You can’t go wrong for $188!! Sounds like a fun trip, enjoy it!!

I was so excited to get a call from Disney Signature services on Friday regarding our BWI CL trip in May! We never received any contact with our last BWI CL stay. She didn't offer up information on the CL FP option until I asked, but we have decided we aren't doing that this trip.

I put in a request for BW view even though we have a standard room. The rate was too good not to take that category. I believe that BW view is an option for some standard rooms. Can anyone confirm this?

Great upgrade for only a $188!! We are a party of 4 and always buy 2 mugs regardless. My kids love them and then I get to toss out the old ones. Even though I could pop in the lounge for a can of soda, it's nice having the mugs by the pool. Especially at BC, I felt it was much easier then running back in and waiting for an elevator. We're lazy though.

Yes! We just got back from our first BWI CL trip. It was AMAZING. We had a standard CL room, and unless there was an upgrade I’m not aware of, we were given a BW view room.

Our only issue with it was the noise. Not so much the night noise, which we totally expected because of nighttime boardwalk activities. Those were fun to watch! But, the jerk pelican on the buoy around 4 am needed to go! Haha. By the last night, we’d gotten used to him, but it was quite a wake up call the first morning!

Honestly, though, best resort stay so far. DS is begging to go to the resort for “his” trip next year.

We have a TPV CL room booked at the Poly in August. This trip sincerely made us so much more excited for our annual trip as a family.

BWI only has 1 category for all it's standard rooms so all views are by request. Garden, pool, Boardwalk, all one category. Request whichever you want.
They used to have Water as a request but there are so few they just removed it.

Beyond excited to have booked a last minute trip to WDW over spring break. We had originally booked BWI standard CL for 3/24-3/28, then DH decided we should book an extra night & head home on Friday. I fell into a great rate for a single night at Poly CL. Looking for any tips on room requests or must see/do at either resort, as we have never stayed at either one. It will be DH, DD 11, DS 5 & me. TIA!

Congrats on the extra night at Poly CL. I tried both CLs for the first time last year and both were amazing! Just in case you're not aware, CL at BWI is located on the 4th floor, but is not a CL only designated floor as there are also non-CL rooms on that floor as well. There is a security door where you have to scan your MB to enter the CL part (there are a few CL rooms outside the security door). We booked standard CL and I made 2 requests, 1) to be inside the security door & 2) close to lounge. We had a great room inside the security door and just 2 doors down from the lounge.

Poly CL is in the Hawaii longhouse, which is all CL (must scan your MB to enter the building). We booked LV CL and my requests were 1) 3rd floor balcony (no balconies on 2nd floor) & 2) close to lounge. We were at the end of the hall in the last room on the 3rd floor, so while it was a little trek to the lounge (which I didn't mind at all), it was a great room with an amazing view!

Hope you have a great time and enjoy both resorts/CLs :wizard:.

ADVICE PLEASE!!
So I just booked a last minute spring break trip CL at Beach Club! This is our first time going to Disney without my DH and I will have our 3 DD's so I am looking for any input on the resort as a whole, The lounge and room suggestions! We don't mind the noise from the lounge and like to be close to everything. If anyone has any reviews they could tag me in that would be awesome! Thanks so much!

I can't offer any room suggestions as we've never stayed BC CL, but I wanted to say I hope you have a great trip :).

I agree, everyone will be flocking to DHS, so the other parks will probably be nice and calm :goodvibes.

You can't beat that savings, you will easily make that up ::yes::.

I always get a mug, too, just to have as a souvenir ;).

Good point! I am all about convenience on vacation :) I told myself it would be easier to run to the lounge for a can of soda than going down to the Marketplace and waiting to refill. I am also guilty of almost finishing my drink by the time I get back to my room.

Mugs at the pool can't be beat. I also carry mine in my backpack because I find myself at other resorts and can always go a rapid refill beverage. Maybe we will just get 1 or 2 :thumbsup2

You must have gotten the last rooms. There's no discounted rooms left that I can find. I think this article pretty much sums it up.https://www.wdwinfo.com/walt-disney-world/summer-discounts-abound-at-walt-disney-world/

This happened for my September dates shortly BEFORE the SW announcement- there was plenty of discount availability and then nothing (again, right before the announcement). Luckily (or unluckily, lol) we had booked when the discount originally came out for a calm, quiet September trip :rotfl: .

On a positive note....I bet the AP discounts for July and August are going to be really good.
