According to Wikipedia, the original manufacturer is out of business.

And everything on Wikipedia is true? It's a website I NEVER let my students use for research....ever. Other people can go add their info anytime....wrong or right.

Wikipedia is a website that is updated by anybody who can use the internet. They can literally put whatever they want on any wikipedia page and only gets updated when someone else wonders along and chooses to change the info.

Just jumping on to let people know that my FP for tomorrow converted to an any attraction FP. In the email it said for the same timeframe as my Primeval Whirl FP, but in MDE it says any attraction and it’s active starting at midnight. Still excludes Pandora rides.

Probably a dumb question, but is it for Animal Kingdom only? I can't remember the specifics of the anytime FPs.

Yes- when I open what is posted below it gives me options of where I can use it within AK. No Rivers of Light and no Pandora, but I believe all the others.

It depends on when your FP becomes an anytime FP. When my son and I were there in June, our 8pm Spaceship Earth FP converted to an anytime FP. It was good for the rest of that night and the next day at any of the parks, but there were exclusions on rides. I suppose because EPCOT was closing at 9pm and you don't use FP during EMH evenings, that's why our FP was good the next day at any of the parks. We used it in MK on Belle's Enchanted Tales the next morning.

Update: We had FPs for the morning of 7/31 and today I was notified that they changed them to EE at 2:00 that afternoon. We're park hopping after our Avatar FP at 11 I tried calling -- we're actually driving down to FL right now -- and the hold time was over an hour.

The AP preview for SWGE dropped this morning. I'd try the phones again when that dust settles.

It will remain closed through August 3rd (at least for now. Expect that date to change, as it has for the last 5 weeks).

After a 20-minute phone call this morning, and after being transferred to 3 different departments, I was told nothing could be done to help me. I should keep refreshing to find something else, or I should go to Guest Services at AK that morning and ask them to move up my FP time. I'm so frustrated.

That’s really disappointing. I would have expected them to just give you an anytime fastpass to use at AK. I’m sorry you had to waste all that time on the phone. We have a Primeval Whirl booked on August 12. I am seriously considering premptively changing it.

Odd that they were so inflexible. We had FP for PW on 7/29. We got an email about the closure yesterday, but were given a FP that is good for any ride except Pandora and for any time the park is open on that day.

Final update: I decided to forward the email I received, along with an explanation of why the new FP didn't work for us, to Guest Services. Within an hour I had a reply and Multi-Experience FPs. I'm very happy, but I don't understand why I had to go through all the hoopla to get to this point.

That's nice! I just got an email saying that my 12:55 pm Primeval Whirl FP for 8/22 was canceled, replaced with a 2:55 pm Everest FP for the same day. I'm in the same boat as @hvanes, in that I was not planning to stay that late at Animal Kingdom, so am a bit frustrated that it's for such a late time. I'd have preferred an anytime one.

Got the email this morning for our Aug 31st 10AM FP+, that it was canceled and replaced with Everest, same time, oh well........
