I finally caught up here super skimming style. This will be brief.

I’m working 17-18 hours a day trying to get PPP loans processed. Don’t feel bad for me, it’s by choice (well necessity too but I’m all in on my job - it’s just who I am, never been a “9-5er” kind of guy). So when duty calls - I’m there. It’s been that way since Monday - just headed to bed now.

Also - can we please not have a mod visit this thread again? Just don’t respond and don’t engage in those discussions. I guarantee that half of you hate where I stand and half of you love it but that doesn’t matter because we have common bonds that bring us together!!! Let’s just talk video games, puzzles and credit cards PLEASE!

Also, my wife got approved for a card someday last week. Maybe Monday or Tuesday. Can’t even recall haha - it all blends together. So that’s cool!!

I’m working 17-18 hours a day trying to get PPP loans processed. Don’t feel bad for me, it’s by choice (well necessity too but I’m all in on my job - it’s just who I am, never been a “9-5er” kind of guy). So when duty calls - I’m there. It’s been that way since Monday - just headed to bed now.

When you first told us you were about to get real busy at work, I didn't think much of it. But the first day of PPP loans made national news, and I immediately knew what you were talking about.

Keep up the good work ... we'll be here when things get back to normal!

For my Virginia friends including @pillow and @DisneyMandC the Washington model now shows us peaking 4/20 and our deaths are cut in half.

And I'm confused on the JHU map. It shows two deaths in my county but we have one nursing home alone that has had 20 deaths. And they didn't just happen.

We have a nursing home affected here also. They said the counts will reflect what county their home was in before admittance. I don’t understand why? So is it possible most of them were from other areas?

Thank you for what you are doing! Our bank just got the PPP application out yesterday, so we hopefully will be submitting today.

We’re submitting our application today too. Spent all day yesterday working on our payroll costs spreadsheet after the bank came out with their requirements. And making sure we’ll be able to spend 75% of the loan on payroll within 8 weeks if we ask for the max, which we definitely need.

When I use the desktop site for JHU, I see 36 deaths "unassigned" for VA. Maybe they've put the nursing home deaths there. On the desktop site, I can't even find your county. The mobile site shows a total of 51 VA deaths, so there are clearly some missing on the desktop site. Either that, or I'm not looking in the proper place.

I honestly don’t know. There is so much conflicting information. We bought a case of them at the very beginning of the crisis, but after learning more, we ended up keeping four of them (two for each of us) & donated the rest to the hospital. I really don’t think the average person needs to be wearing them whenever they go outside. I just couldn’t stop thinking “what if something happens to my parents & I want to fly to the US even if it means waiting out the quarantine” - hence why we kept those four. So, I don’t think it’s a bad idea to have them around, but you would really only need them in an emergency situation IMO.

We found a couple in our garage. I think they'll work ok like a cloth mask would for us, wearing in a grocery store for necessities to keep our germs to ourselves. In regular times I guess not reusable, but for just that I think they'll work ok. (esp since I'm not going more than once or twice in a month)
