I was NOT contacted about anything, found out on Dis and Youtube
There are 3 in my party (me, dh, dd age 12)

My new dates are : 11/24/20-12/01/20
My original resort was: POP Preferred Room
I originally booked Free Dining Recovery Offer
Moved to: Animal Kingdom Kidani Dlx Studio Savannah View
I made the original reservation myself
I was contacted about my resort's closure
There are 3 adults

I know that, but the CM said I could stay in Garden View at Contemporary. I wouldn’t be surprised if they moved us to BLT but she didn’t say that.

That may be because we are hearing reports that CMs are making mistakes and that only DVC and Ft Wilderness are open for moves And should not be offering anything else for choices.

I think that CM made a mistake, and I would definitely consider calling back. It think it's highly unlikely that anything other than DVC and FW will be open by July 10. If your reservation falls through the cracks and there's nowhere else to put you come July 10, you could be out of luck.
 
My dates were: June 10-13, moved before reopening announcement to July 8-11 (called today to modify, no wait at 10:20am EST)

My original resort was: Pop, standard with park hopper tickets
I originally booked: online myself with sun & fun discount
I am being moved to: CM offered Fort Wilderness cabin ($500 increase), I asked for Epcot area and she mentioned Rivera to keep us on skyliner but offered Beach Club Villas ($900 increase) first.
--CM said "we do not know about Pop Century and value resorts opening yet" but that I could wait and see if other resorts become available before modifying trip.
I was not contacted about anything.
2 adults, 1 "Disney adult" 11 yr old & 1 child
 
Date:7/26-8/1 which was a change from original June 9th reservation
POP-2 rooms booked with recovery offer/free dining
Reservation made through TA
Reservation cancelled with no notice.
TA stated Disney wouldn’t honor recovery offer had to book new reservation
New resort SSR 2 bedroom
$800.00 increase

Something weird happened with a reservation I booked for myself. There were 3 of us on the reservation and it showed active for 2 of us when we pulled up the reservation, and showed canceled when the other person pulled it up. When I called in about resort changes (original dates traveling June 24), they said the reservation had been canceled. I'm the travel agent on the reservation, so I know I didn't cancel it. Turns out when I was pulling it up in my travel agent portal, I was putting in the original reservation number (the one showing in the confirmation email) but the reservation that pulled up had a DIFFERENT confirmation number. When I called in and told them our original confirmation number, it showed canceled on Disney's end, but when I gave them this second confirmation number it worked! So maybe have your travel agent "retrieve reservation" in the Disney Travel Agent portal and see if when she pulls it up if the confirmation number changes? I think Disney has had some glitches, and if your agent said she didn't cancel it then she's probably telling the truth. Trust me, we want our clients to travel!!!
 
I just called and moved my room-only 7/2-7/7 trip from Gran Destino Tower to 11/27-12/2 in a Tower Studio at the Riviera. They are not able to modify the number of nights when you change dates, and the rates are non-discounted since I didn't have any sort of recovery offers. I was connected immediately to a very sweet CM but her system was very slow for searching for rooms.

They are not taking any payments right now, which was nice since I normally would have had to pay for the huge deposit increase. I will definitely be modifying this stay at a later date, since I'd like a full week and ideally a cheaper resort or a deluxe with a discount, since I hope they will be able to open some non-DVC resorts by late November but who knows! I just wanted something in my MDE to look forward to since I'm not sure how long it'll be before we are able to make reservations online again, and my modification deadline was today. But for now, I have a $500/night shoebox sized room with my name on it :laughing:.

There are 2 in my party (me and DD30)

I was told that if other resorts do open I could call and change my resort or dates and would not lose the 35% discount. I really don't know if we will take this trip or not but wanted a "placeholder" for my trip and discount. Zero wait when calling today at 12:00 central time.

I didn't receive an email, but decided to call after there were reports of people in the same date range being modified.

They couldn't do anything at the time, but said they would call me back. The called back in less than 24 hours. They offered Saratoga Spring Deluxe studio. I asked about the bed configuration and if it was possible to get something that had two actual beds instead of a bed and a pull out couch. She said she couldn't make that change but that she would send it to a guest service specialist and they would call me back in 48-72 hours.

The CM was super nice and friendly. She even adjust my room rate down $10/night to account for the difference in the parking fee from value to Deluxe.

Hopefully someone calls back and I'm able to get two beds....I don't really think it'll happen though. We'll see.

so thanks to those who told me to call! I called back and yes Contemporary is closed 😡
but since yesterday’s CM told me wrong they moved us free of charge to BLT theme park view one bedroom.
