So funny story - I sent my sister the information about Rona as she is going to shop there for me to get my offer and she noticed this spelling error.
* Offer valid from August 27 to September 2, 2020 at participating RONA locations. To get the offer, the Collector must click on the activation bouton included in the promotional coupon.

Her reply ="Air Miles/Rona Spelling error the Collector must click on the activation bouton --- must be a fancy button". Even when I typed that in here my spell check knew it was incorrect so why didn't theirs???? Was it a fancy bouton for anybody - Ha ha

YES, the wording on the coupon clearly state you're good to go so long as it happens before 11:59:59 pm Eastern Time on Sept 10th. Her gift cards will count!!

Opt-in requirements: To qualify for this offer, you must (a) opt in for the offer by entering your AIR MILES Collector Number and clicking the “Opt in” button on on or before September 10, 2020

Not a typo just a translation issue. RONA was a Quebec company and button in french is bouton.

I've been slower than usual on this MM adventure.

So far I've done:

Shell fill up to 50 litres after opting in online (only normal miles posted with a BMO top up amount I wasn't expecting, I don't think the bonus MMs as per the coupon posted - this happened last time too, annoying, will likely have to dispute for the promo).

Sobeys (I think the proper bonus amounts have posted in total but it's weird because none of the bonus AMs amounts are the same as my receipt, my receipt does specify the MM promo though, I may have to dispute this as well).

Just did an online LCBO order for the Cloudy Bay wine (not posted yet).

Opted into the BMO Mastercard purchase threshold offer (over $300 spent now so that's done but nothing has posted as of yet).

My last plan is for a Foodland shop at some point before the 10th.

Not too difficult for me even without Rexall but I will be annoyed if I have to dispute the issues above. At this point it's getting par for the course though so I should probably just consider it a normal part of Airmiling lol

I wonder whether the Mega Miles will be posted at a later date or if it’s added to other bonus miles and posted as a lump sum. My receipt is in my car and I will check later. My posted miles also don’t look familiar.

Ugh, I have now done 3 MM coupons (Shell, JiffyLube and airmilesshops using the Amazon GC reload) and none of the bonus miles have shown up yet! We are going away this weekend and I will need gas so I can do the Shell one again, I've confirmed that I *did* opt-in for that one so I have my fingers crossed this time.

This is proving to be a serious pain in the rear.

The Shell opt in posted at the end of the promo last year so I wouldn't worry about that one. The Amazon purchase, did your regular miles for that purchase post? If they did, then yes, I'd be worried about the MM on that one. If the regular miles didn't post, well then I might worry about the whole thing. Fingers crossed for you!

I'm on my way out the door to get some more material to make masks and take a peek at Rona to see what I might use that coupon for and I've noticed there are a ton of questions being asked but I don't have time to address them all at the moment. Hate to do this but HERE'S A LINK to the post where I explained what's on the first page, including a post about how coupons are printing on receipts and then eventually posting to accounts. I don't want to come across as rude but I'm also wanting to make sure people don't feel the need to do "insurance coupons" when I'm aware that most of us are working with limited budgets due to COVID-19.

I'm a bit behind on the receipt and account postings (last update was late Monday morning) but a constant comment is about Shell -- those will NOT print on your receipt or post to your account, never do!

I'll go thru the thread when i get home and see what I've missed but if there's some i STILL overlook, please tag me so I catch it, I want to be sure we all work this promo to it's fullest

Fianlly, I finished MM on my account. Reno Depot tomorrow and DS will be finished and then Shell for DH car and he's finished also. I don't like that we have to wait to find out if the promos worked. I like having them post so I know I did everything correctly before the promotion ends in case I feel the need to do an extra.

No extras this time. I will argue my way to success if need be.

So for Mega Miles I have done:

Shell
Foodland
The Children's Place
Airmilesshops (did the gift card trick, thanks Jacqu!)
BMO-I need about another $75 to hit $500 from Shell, Foodland, LCBO, and maybe Metro or Rona. Rona is across the city, and, while I DO want/need a new kitchen light, I just don't have the urge to head across. I'll be good with another fill up, another bottle of moscato, and another Foodland shop. (if necessary a gift card).

Hopefully, I won't have any issues. I did the Christmas in July at the last minute and two of the three shops never posted. So, naturally, the 'big' one didn't either.

I really appreciate both of these posts more than you might know. I enjoy keeping these threads active and complete with as much accurate information that I can provide. It gives me a focus for my very distracted brain and knowing that it's helping others is a bonus I started these Airmiles threads when I was planning our 30th wedding anniversary trip and it has just grown into a labour of love. I have nothing but time on my hands, keep ridiculously detailed records and since i know that I don't like digging for the truth I will only provide information that i can back up with screen shots and/or direct links. I pull the information from boots on the ground reports and put them in a spot that easy to reference when we need to follow up.

Staples offer and it says Mega Miles so that one worked. Still haven't seen the 25X multiplier from Staples but I will take what I can get.

Did anyone do the first Children's Place offer, spend $35 on jeans or Uniform get 15 AM's, for the MM shop? I have seen that people are getting their AM's from the second offer of spend $60 yet I still don't have the 15 AM's.
Wondering if anyone has received them yet.

Yup, it happens at least once during these promos and I will end up getting messages from people asking for my special contact info so they can get their miles posted earlier than the stated dates

Just checked mine and POOF my Amazon orders have posted (for both the loading of the gift card and the actual order itself) AND the MM coupon is there as well. I had given up on seeing it till after i chased it down.

We made a trek to Rona and after 10 minutes we came home, I just can't make myself buy something we don't need. What i had decided i would buy wasn't in stock and what was cost too much! Came home and studied the website to see if there's anything we might need and gave up on THAT! Then I had a tiny brainwave ... we've decided to go away for a couple of nights and will need to grocery shop when we get there (staying in a condo, posted about it in the Hotel Stay thread) and there's a Foodland that's less than 5 minutes away!! I've been studying that flyer now and trying to decide if I can make a $100 order or not. If not, I won't complete 5 coupons so i need to decide if i should attempt Rona again before it expires
