So many dessert choices! At restaurants, I usually can skip that course, but here they look so tempting. I’ll probably have to hop to EPCOT both days I am there to avoid sugar overload. Okay, same number of savory to sweet. Still two days’ worth of meals. Something will have to give. I think I can do without two (*)from each group; if I had a third day, i might taste them all.

Savory:

*Toasted Pretzel Bread topped with Black Forest Ham and Melted Gruyère Cheese

Citrus-braised Crispy Pork Belly with Kumquat and Carrot (New)

Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewer with Steamed Rice and Coconut-Lime Sauce

Seared Scallops with French Green Beans, Butter Potatoes, Brown Butter Vinaigrette and Apple-wood-smoked Bacon

*Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with Savory Garlic Spread

+++++++

Sweet:

*Dark chocolate raspberry tart

Citrus Shortcake: Orange Chiffon Cake, Lemon Curd, Mandarins, Whipped Cream, and Citrus Crumble

*Key Lime Tart with Toasted Meringue

Beignet Caramélisé, Fourré Crème Vanille, Glacé au Caramel Fleur de Sel: Caramelized Beignet filled with Vanilla Cream and Glazed with Caramel Fleur de Sel (new)

Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake with Orange Blossom Honey Whipped Cream, Whipped Honey, Crystalized Honey, Honeycomb, Dehydrated Honey, and Fennel Pollen Meringue Kisses

Bon Appetit, fellow Flower Friends.

We try very hard to stick to pescatarian choices and I'm thrilled with the options Disney has for us. My spreadsheet is so full.

Same - we are total foodies. My husband eats pretty much anything. My daughter has been a vegetarian since birth (she is 16) and eats diary and eggs. I am the same but will also eat some shellfish, in a pinch. My daughter mostly has desserts highlighted from this list (yes, we have already printed and highlighted it) but there are other savory dishes she can eat as prepared or with just a bit of modification (which we have never had a problem with).

And these menus are why I'm glad we go with a large group. There will be 15 of us traveling around the world eating all the food. And between it all, we get to try a bite of almost everything because there are so many people to share with

My DH and I will have to share all our F&G items. We have so many on the list that we just need to try! I think we will need to rolled out after all this food:

This is 28 items! We are crazy to try it in 2 days but we'll do it anyways :)

If all goes according to plan, I will be visiting 3 different times during F&G - once with both parents for Spring Break, once with my mom and sister for Mother's Day weekend, and once with just my mom in June to celebrate finishing Year 5 of Teaching. My dad will typically take a bite of whatever but isn't interested in drinks, my mom is SUPER picky on food but is excited for desserts and trying some of the drinks, and my sister will try the food, desserts, and drinks. So I've got a nice range of help to tackle my list over those trips:

Savory:
  • Corned Beef Brisket Hash with House-made Potato Barrels, Onions, Peppers, Cheese Curds, and a Soft-poached Egg with Tabasco Hollandaise
  • Toasted Pretzel Bread topped with Black Forest Ham and Melted Gruyère Cheese

  • Soy-glazed Pork Shank with Truffle Mashed Potatoes, Crispy Lotus Flower, Garlic Chips, and Green Onion
  • Taco Vampiro: Braised Beef on a Corn Tortilla with Crispy Grilled Monterey Jack Cheese and Salsa Ranchera
  • Beef Tenderloin Tips, Mushroom Bordelaise Sauce, and Whipped Potatoes with Garden Vegetables
  • Margherita: Rustic Italian Flatbread with Tomato Sauce and Mozzarella
  • Arancini: Sweet Sausage Fried Risotto Balls with Pomodoro Sauce

  • Beignet Caramélisé, Fourré Crème Vanille, Glacé au Caramel Fleur de Sel: Caramelized Beignet filled with Vanilla Cream and Glazed with Caramel Fleur de Sel
  • Pecan Cake with Maple Whipped Cream
Beverages:
  • Froot Loops Shake (maybe...my mom and I have said we have to see it first)
  • 3 Daughters Brewing Pink Lemonade Hard Cider, St. Petersburg, Fla
  • Orange Sunshine Wine Slushy
  • Frozen Lemonade with Firefly Blackberry Moonshine (Hoping it's kind of like the Arendelle Aqua they've had before)
  • Pineapple Sake
  • Maeloc Pineapple and Pear Hard Cider, Galicia, Spain

We managed to be there a couple days last year for Flower and Garden before the Great Shutdown, I was wondering if they were going to use the same menus since they were only available for a week but I’m thrilled to see that that’s not the case! Soooo many new dishes 😍😍

I have never been to Epcot during this festival. Can someone explain how it works? Where do you get all these tasty looking food items? Are they small sizes? How much do they cost? Are the crowds around the world much worse? We only have one day at Epcot 23rd(a Tuesday) of March. Hoping spring break crowds aren’t there yet! We are staying at BCV so it will be easy access to these goodies I’m just not sure how it works. Thanks for any info!!

There are booths set up all around World Showcase, similar to Food and Wine (if you have ever been there for that festival) that sell these food items. During these "taste of" festivals, they have also had the World Showplace building (between Canada and the UK) open and have been selling some of the food from there. They are smaller portions which are great for getting to try more of the items. They usually range in cost from anywhere from $4-9ish, but exact prices will be available once the festival starts next week. I have found that weekend crowds during festivals can get super busy, so your going on a Tuesday may help you in terms of crowds a little bit.

Thank you!! Some of the items look so good. Are there places to sit to eat? I’m actually kinda surprised they are doing this as it means more people around without masks. Hopefully it won’t be too crowded in a Tuesday!!

The world showplace building has lots of seating socially distanced. Near the outdoor food kiosks are a bunch of standing tables, all 6+ feet apart from each other.

Finding at a place to near the booths can be a challenge, especially if you want to sit. That said, even on weekends during F&W, I was able to find somewhere nearby - usually seated, maybe not with a table, to eat. Picnic tables are available in front of the America building.

The line lengths seem to vary greatly; if you don’t like to wait, skip it and come back later to a much shorter queue.

They are small, but even that description varies. The Filet Mignon at Canada during F&W was probably a 3-4 oz serving, about $8-9 dollars.

I like to push myself to try new foods at the Festivals. I got a fisherman’s pie in November which was superb. I never knew I could enjoy scallops.

Disney Food Blog does a great job with menus, prices, photos and reviews. Full info should be available after March 3 (I think media get a preview day March 2).

A Tuesday should be great For crowd levels/ drunkenness.

Bon Appetit.

For those who have been before, do the food items look as artistic in real life as the promo pictures when they're cranking out hundreds of them an hour?

Also, maybe this is a stupid question but, for some of the dishes that are garnished with flowers... are those edible?

Any one know why we have not seen a sneak peak of the merchandise that will be available?
I was eager to see some merch too and found some videos on Instagram. I’m eyeing what looks to be a planter shaped like Minnie rain boots.
