Hello!! New here! My husband and I just booked a room at the Swan for next month for our anniversary. I’ve been looking but haven’t found the answer yet...I know that if we show our room key, we can get free parking at the parks...but what if we go to the park our first day before check in? Do we just show our reservation? Also, we are staying for 2 nights. So are we charged for 2 nights of parking or 3 days of parking? Thank you!

Yes, usually you can just tell the attendant you are checking in that day, but they may ask to see proof of reservation.

I believe it is charged by night, but someone else may know better....

Parking is charged nightly.

Is you reservation linked in My Disney Experience? According to the rules as I've seen them, in order to get park parking, your Swolphin ressie needs to be in MDE and you need the room key. When I was there in December, however, I just flashed my room card and they let me in. I would believe as long as your reservation is linked you would be good for the free parking on check in day. YMMV and don't quote me on that.

We checked in last night. A few observations:

No wait at check in. Customer service has been very good. Room is very clean and comfortable. Long wait for coffee at 9 am but the line did keep moving. $4 for a small black coffee is... ridiculous.

Pools at 3 pm were insanely crowded and busy. We managed to find a chair to set down our towels and stuff but it wasn’t easy and took a while.

Blue Zoo last night was very, very busy. However it was also incredibly good food and a great atmosphere. I recommend it!

I know you are on vacation and you may have been rushing around this moring and many thhings are different but did you miss the free coffee in your room?

So where is the best place to buy coffee in the morning before heading into the parks early early?

In room coffee is great, but my wife only drinks half decaf and half regular which is hard to create with the in room coffee maker.

I’m having trouble linking my Swan Reserve reservation to MDE. It’s been a while since we visited, so I completely forget what the “trick” is (maybe adding a 0 somewhere?)
Can anyone help me out here? It seems the search function isn’t working properly on the boards, so I can’t find any previous posts. (“No results founds” for everything I searched for.) I also called the hotel directly and after holding for over 30 minutes somehow got a Marriott rep and not a Swolphin rep, so it was pointless.

Weird question: Do you do anything to "sanitize" the coffee maker before you use it in the room? My oldest DS thinks it's gross to use one that maybe doesn't get cleaned regularly. I'd like to be able to convince him to drink the in-room coffee rather than wait in line for it and waste park time so if there's a way to clean it, that might help.
