So my Chase Pay Yourself back dashboard still says I only have 16 days to pay myself back on my Sapphire Reserve even though everyone has reported that Chase has extended it until September 30. Does anyone know what will happen at the end of April? Will it only allow you to pay yourself back after that for future purchases?

So looking to change my Delta Flights for May. When I go to "modify" the flights - it tells me the flights I want are not available. But I can pull them up when going to book a flight. If I cancel the original flights and rebook - how quick are the points back in my account? Is it instant? Would rather not wait 3 hours again to talk to an agent...

Mine have all been back instantly. I have to log out and log back in, and then the balance refreshes.

The United Quest support link is out and you can support from any United card. The extra 20k for additional $5000 spend isn't on the offer though. Hopefully, by the time you apply, the offers will be the same.

Thinking of applying for the United Quest first instead of the CIC. That 100,000 mile bonus is great, plus all of the other perks that come with the card. I'm going to keep checking back using DH's support link. We will be taking many trips from Houston to Frankfurt, Germany over the next few years to visit DD. She is expecting our first grandbaby and I've already booked travel to be there for the delivery in November. I want to have extra United miles on hand in case I need to fly before the due date.

Another quick question, if I apply for the United Quest first, I will then be 4/24. Can I apply for the CIC before the 24 month mark? Still figuring out how to navigate the rules! Thanks!

I applied for a BoA small business card and got denied for the unsecured version but they offered me a secured version. I tried to get reconsideration but no one could help me get that done (Dh did that a month before me with the same card and was able to). Has anyone done a CD and secured version of a card? We’ve never done it before

Since it has a 90 day look back period, I'm assuming that on May 1 the eligible charges will have a new expiration date.

This is just my assumption on what would be logical logistically, if they just look at eligible category charges that haven't been marked as redeemed already.

Not sure for sure because they didn't do this the last time they extended the categories. I'm hoping this is what happens as I'm waiting on some points to post May 1 and it'd be nice to quickly cash out without having to spend again.

l have not but am interested to. What card did you apply for that they countered with the secured? Since I'm going to have to pay taxes on my business income this year I need a card to separate out my business expenses.

You probably don't want to do that with a secured bofa biz card. Your credit limit is equal to the amount you put in the cd. There's more info if you search r/churning as it comes up sometimes. That's the only bit that I've gotten from it.

Personally I would invest money just to be able to open a biz card. The sub is nice but I don't find the effort worthwhile when there are other biz cards that don't require you to jump through hoops. Now if you have money you can let sit in that cd for however long they make you then go for it. No idea if it helps with future biz cards with them but I'd imagine you'd have to keep this one open with decent spend before you can get another. Haven't seen dps on what happens after you get the secured card.

It was the business advantage cash rewards card. They want us to give them $1000 for a year. Dh thinks it’s worth it because we can’t get any other cards right now. We’ve been denied for everything and have to buy a brand new AC

I just booked our car service for August and asked for a car seat. They said that they only have forward facing car seats. Is it legal for a 21 month old to be forward facing in FL? We are rear facing as long as we can at home and are okay with him facing forward just for the short trips to/from the airport.

I just looked it up and three different websites said Florida doesn’t have a specific age or weight requirement to be forward facing

Ok thats what I found too when I did a little research. I think I will double check with the car service just to make sure. Trying to avoid being stuck using DME right now since we don't want to rent a car either!

Thanks for the look into what my future holds. I just got the notifications the bank pulled credit on my wife and I for our mortgage pre-qual.
The market is freaking me out. We're planning on selling then buying in the next few months but people are bidding and losing out on multiple houses. We can't do that, if we sell ours and can't find anything we will have no place to live. 😩

There are a lot of people that are putting that contingency in their agreements. It used to go the other way, the contingency was on the buyer selling their old home.

I got a call yesterday from someone asking to buy our house. What the heck is going on??

That's not weird to me. Parents have gotten letters over the years from people wanting to buy the house, and I don't mean the obnoxious realtor one's, but actual letters. We live on a busy street and have a detached 3 car garage and a decent lot. Most people want it for the garage.

You never know when someone might be thinking about selling, whether they are serious about it or not, and if it's a house or location you want people will ask. Worst thing is they say no and think you are nuts for asking.

We’re planning on listing our house too. We had planned to list next spring but we don’t want to miss out on the market. We don’t need to buy something as we have our home in FL. I have a lot of work to do to get prepared to list! My brain knows it’s the right thing but emotionally....that’s another story.
