I keep trying to pull up the 150K MR. Can get 125K but not 150K. Are there any support links for this in Dischurners? I tried a few links but nothing pulled up the 150. Although AMEX might still not like me and DH anyway... but want to at least try!
I was able to pull it up on my link over at Dischurners, but I had shutdown my computer the night before so I think a lot of cookies disappeared (edit to add - I think you need a "fresh" browser). It didn't show up when I opened it in Safari but it was there when I copied the link into a new browser (Chrome worked for me). Specifically, after clicking on the link, I navigated to the personal card offers and then copy-pasted the url into a new browser. Maybe that will work for you?

ETA: I tried this technique with a few other Dischurner's links and it worked with their support links too!

UGHHH... Still not working. Tried copying and pasting all the links. Maybe I will try again another day. Seems to be hit or miss with them.

Another 2% cash back card is Wells Fargo Active cash. They gave us each a $200 sign up bonus for $1000 spend. No AF. I think DH credit limit is 22,000 and mine 20,000. They also gave us 15 month of 0% interest on purchases, for the first time ever I am taking advantage of that. I haven’t redeemed for statement credit but had them send me a check.

Speaking of phones, we are headed to Europe next week (Germany/France/Netherlands) and previously I had added the daily international phone service through Verizon, but at $10 a day, that's another $100. Has anyone used a sim card, and if so, what do you suggest? I think I can do that for around $50 for the entire time. Flights/hotels booked on points to keep this on topic lol.
We haven’t used it but this is what we are going to use later this year. We too have Verizon. But you have to make sure your phone is unlocked. Verizon will automatically unlock your phone after 60 days. I only say that because I know people are getting ready to buy new iPhones.

My daughter just got to London and bought her sim card from a local seller (GiffGaff). It is supposed to be good in Great Britain and Europe, costs are listed in pounds.
15 GB for 10 pounds
30 GB for 15 pounds
100 GB for 20 pounds
Unlimited data for 35 pounds

We suspended her normal phone account/number since she will be gone 3.5 months.

I had Verizon for 20 years went to add my wife (after we got married) they said it was 120$ more a month (for unlimited this was a while ago) went to Tmobile in the same strip mall got both phones for 100$ with taxes it hasn't gone up since also free international roaming on trips vs 10$ a day with Verizon (not sure if this changed) I agree wouldn't go back.
My sister just changed from T-Mobile to Verizon so she could get free phones. Plus T-mobile had some weird issue porting her daughter's number to their account. I keep telling her I know lots of people who hate Verizon and have service issues but I guess it's worth free phones to her. Frankly I like T-Mobile and even have their T-Mobile Money accounts.

Verizon is by far the best service around here. I ordered my new phone this morning. It's purple :-)

I think it was ~12 years ago when we did it. their coverage hasn't let me down a little in the beginning some random spots but not now.

When DD was in London, the prepaid card didn't work for her. She was constantly having problems so she just bought a plan (she was there for a year) without a contract.

To use the GE credit on the Venture X, I just use it to pay for the GE application, or is there something else special I need to do?
Yup! I did it recently and a few days after I saw a credit post on my statement that effectively wiped out the charge.

We use this as our base card when we aren't working on an MSR and spend isn't in a better category elsewhere. As a nice fringe benefit, it gets a lot of the same offers as Chase cards so you can get a random deal for Staples, ShopDisney, etc.

We like Verizon. Two of our adult kids are still on our family plan, we have 12 GB of shared data we never use fully and it rolls over, plus the mobile hot spot which is a must for us, $175 a month for 4 lines. Verizon keeps telling us we could switch to unlimited data for less, but we would lose the hot spot feature. We buy our own phones.

Cabo will have a very different type of beauty compared with Hawaii. Think desert meets the sea. Desert landscaping with few swimmable beaches. The one at the resort is especially unswimmable (deadly actually). But the resort pools and your balcony pool will be amazing. I love Cabo for the food, the nightly live entertainment at restaurants, the impeccable service at the resort. Hopefully you'll be there for whale watching season. Depending on how long you are staying, you might want to make time to head out to see San Jose del Cabo and especially Flora Farms, a farm to table garden oasis in the middle of the desert. It's pretty special.

There's another Cabo review in my signature that has some dining recommendations.

The WA is the best FNC redemption I know of. It's great to try new things. I think recently, instead of trying to fall in love with every place I visit, I am trying to approach new destinations with "what can I learn from this experience/destination?" Before, I think I tried to make every destination my new favorite, which set me up for many failures.
Thanks, I will read that one, too. This wasn't my first choice, but DH doesn't want to take off more time from work so #1 Amsterdam and #2 Wailea were off the table. TBH I'm worried about water, salad, etc. and gastrointestinal issues in general. I've been to Mexico before but it was a long time ago and I remember barely eating anything there. I'm telling myself it's good to try new things, too, so I went ahead and booked this trip. As a bonus, the days they had available happen to line up with my DD's winter break (I wasn't even looking for this as a possibility) so that's kind of cool. She's never been there.

I'm literally the only one who gets service in our office (hospital basement). Used to be Sprint only but then T-Mobile bought Sprint. Verizon, AT&T no good.

My T-Mobile is $140 for 4 lines (mom on our plan) unlimited talk, text and data. But whatever works for you is best.

Your phone has to be unlocked for a non network sim to work. Not all phones are. I think AT&T can/will if you fully own the phone and it was bought from them. Not sure about the others.

Couldn't you use your phone as a hot spot instead of having one separate? I know when we had internet issues last month some people used their phone to get their laptop connected.

You still get mobile hotspot with the unlimited on all but the starter tier. You can mix and match if you only need one line to have certain features. My plan is different from my wife's which is different from my son.

I had Sprint, wife had AT&T, both have horrible reception in my area. Switched to Verizon before our WDW trip in 2019 and have had great service since.

Yep, that's what we do. Every time verizon offers us a lower plan with unlimited data that ability goes away. We like the Verizon coverage here, and my kids in SF and Seattle areas seem good with it; I'm not looking to switch. We obviously don't need unlimited data.

I have a giffgaff UK number for my visits back home - had it for 3 years - the good thing is the prices you mentioned are monthly packs that you only buy when you need - you don't need to spend any money to keep the number - just send a text once every six months to keep the number active.

I think I bought the original giffgaff sim on Ebay (USA) before I headed back one time so it was active and ready to go when I got there.

So the P2 CIC saga continues. They asked twice for documents. Then it went to the 7-10 days. Today I got mail asking for the same documents. But I saw the date was the same date as the email. But this time I photocopied the id instead of taking a photo and uploaded it all again. The message now says 2 weeks.
