fee free $200 Visa gift cards at Staples 11/6 to 11/12
I don't even fly and I agree! I do book with my points for family and sometimes friends and always try to get direct flights.Maybe it is a stage of life thing, but currently I feel it is worth paying a little more (in another points currency) to fly direct, than to mess with SW and their connections. Anyone else feel the same?
Yippee!fee free $200 Visa gift cards at Staples 11/6 to 11/12
I think I agree with you.... I got the CP last January, and was almost immediately sorry I had bothered..... (turns out I'll get some use out of it after all soon) but I'm from the NE too,and the service to almost everywhere is now multiple flights.... so so inconvenient. I'm still using up points and CP but I'm starting to eye other airlines now,b/c we have a lot of choices here with a lot of decent sales. Not answering your question, but your post reminded me that P2s CP will expire soon and it should be my turn to be looking at the best way to acquire CP for the next two years. Sadly, it seems that since the pandemic SW have gutted their service from the NorthEast and it seems I have to take a connecting flight almost anywhere these days. Most of those connections seem to route through BWI and the points required shoots way up. I just can't get excited about SW at the moment and I think we have only gotten one use out of P2s CP. If a great offer comes along, I might still jump but I don't feel it is worth the effort of applying for multiple cards at the moment.

dont give them any ideas here!My county already charges a fee to use your card, but the lady mentioned people using it for the points. So my town is definitely aware that people are doing it to earn points.
My county also gives a discount if you pay early, but they take it away if you pay with a card. It's so stupid. They charge the 3% fee and take away the discount.
Great news for me. I have a new CIC on the way and have been worried I would miss my opportunity this week with the fee free MCYippee!
I am going to try to get CP for 2023. With St. Louis as my home airport, SW offers a lot of direct flights to the coasts. I've also found their customer service to be good. When we recently missed a points-booked SW flight and were stranded they moved us to the next available non-stop and did not charge us any fees/additional points. Not answering your question, but your post reminded me that P2s CP will expire soon and it should be my turn to be looking at the best way to acquire CP for the next two years. so why even show it I dont get it? im not doing this until 2024 trip i tell my DW i need to know about a year out so I can start planning she always thinks im wasting my time until she gets on the flight
For those of you getting the Amex phone offer, are you the type that load all the amex offers to get more? I normally only load the ones i might use. LOL
Bummer. I hadn't told dd about her pre-approved 50k miles offer, for $1k spend. She can't swing a $3k spend, but this is now the offer she is preapproved for (as am I)Reddit is reporting a new public offer of 75k for Southwest personal card, ending 12/5. I can't seem to pull that offer when searching online, but reddit seems to think it's a cache issue and suggested going to Southwest and from there over to the Chase site. This link was provided.

We had two CP last year and took 12 one way flights, so definitely got our value. We are lucky to be an hour between two decent airports. And love the flexibility of Southwest. We plotted out our plans for next year and we think we'll get enough value, so we are going to go for companion pass again.
ETA: When I log into a non-SW cc holder account on Southwest, I see the public offer of 75k. Weird cache issue. Hope support links update soon.
Many people have both, either acquired through upgrade or downgrade or through MDD, so I think it's common that reps see people with both. I did specifically ask the rep because I'm sort of risk adverse and she specifically said there is no issue with holding both cards, the issue is with earning the SUB on both cards and it was fine to PC. That was my experience but please do what you are comfortable with.
That worked, so im going to have to have a 330-day reminder like CR thanks! it looks like 95k points or 120k with delta (where I would get MQM and cash spent). The funny thing is delta is nowhere near that evaluationI would search one ways- less problematic. It seems there schedule is open until about 9/30 or 10/01. Lots of availability towards that end of the calendar. These fees/taxes are pretty hefty, but perhaps the experience is worth it?
There is a DP in reddit stating that they applied/approved 11/01, SMed for match 11/02. Reply stated would be matched after the $7,500 MSR.I'm planning on applying for an Ink card soon. I noticed the referral bonus is still showing a sub of $750 with $7500 msr. Any thoughts on if this will change to the $900 sub/$6k msr offer? Or should I apply and ask to be matched?
