I think I found my next travel destination!Heh - Just come visit my town, Frederick Md, that's where Bryan Voltaggio is from and we have 2 of his restaurants.
Sorry that your plans didn't go through!

Hit F&W on Friday for the first time. Tried about 10 dishes--Italy's booth was far and away our favorite. The ribs are humongous, and fall off the bone tender and soooo tasty. DH also really liked the Ravioli Carbonara -- about 5 or 6 medium-sized raviolis and good ricotta filling -- could've been a little hotter.
Also tried, in order of liking them:
Cheese Studio's: Maple bourbon cheesecake
Hops & Barley: Lobster Roll
Hawaii: Pulled pork slider
Mexico: Chocolate Bread Pudding
The Alps: Venison Stew
The Alps: Raclette (this was not fresh and cheese was clumpy sadly)
Hawaii: Pineapple Wine -- OK but skinny flute serving for the $10 price
We are looking to May '21 for our next trip and enjoy some flowers! It's made F&G my favorite now.
I agree the quality of the coasters doesn't seem great. And yes, LOL, absorbing moisture would seem like a key quality in a beverage coaster. I was thinking about attempting a DIY project this weekend to coat them in something to make shiny and more water resistant. But that said, there have been years where there has been no gift whatsoever (or metal buttons ) so I'm appreciative that they planned something - even if perhaps it didn't turn out as perhaps hoped. I'll report back if I'm successful... I'm a bit craft-challenged.I usually can't find anything bad to say about Disney but I have to admit, I was a little disappointed in the AP gift coasters this year. They are really cheap and, one internet source advised not to let them get wet. I though that was what coasters were supposed to be for.
