Hope you're no longer worried by all the scaremongering over pig flu, all will be OK I'm sure.

We leave on the 25th May, so hoping the situation remains the same by then.


BTW, when I visit Norwich for work, I usually go to Marble Hall./Surrey Street. The food in the Jigsaw cafe there is lovely.....especially the pies!


What part of Aviva do your relatives work in?

I am a little worried about piggy flu, we leave on the 22nd May and hope things stay the same too, I mean if things got worse could countries close off the borders and not let people in?

I just spent some time reviewing one of my favorite DR's of all time - this one! I had to say, this past February we finally tried a Cheesecake Factory mainly because of your photos and oh my GOD was it good! I had the coconut cheesecake and now I can die happy

I hope you do another review for your upcoming trip - and maybe we'll see you around the "world" next week! Travel safely!

I read the whole thing from start to finish in ONE sitting (I work nights, so I can't often sleep well at night). I was so glad to see I read this just in time for your next vaca!!!!! Hello all!

Yes we head off on Saturday morning! Have been very panicky about airports being shut down due to the swine flu, but I have calmed myself down at last and started to pack!!! The trip will go ahead!!!!

I have been meaning to do a pre-food report but haven’t had chance yet. So in absence of that these are our plans in order of breakfast - lunch - dinner . . .

2nd May – Dinner only - Port Orleans Foodcourt (POR) or Pizza delivery
3rd May – Boma – Earl of Sandwich - Ribs – probably Tony Romas
4th May – POR – Le Cellier - T-Rex
5th May – POR – Cookes of Dublin - California Grill
6th May – Earl of Sandwich – WPE - Ohanas
7th May – POR – Casey’s - 50’s Prime Time
8th May – Kona Café – Market St café in Celebration - 1900 Park Fare
9th May – I-Hop – Cinnabbon - The Wave
10th May –POR – Pizzafari or Yak & Yeti - Boma
11th May – WPE – Chefs De France - Trails End
12th May – Captain Cookes – Peco Bills or Tony’s - Crystal Palace
13th May – POR – Beaches n Cream - House of Blues
14th May – Chef Mickey – Earl of Sandwich - Cheesecake Factory
15th May – Main St Bakery – Grand Floridian café - Raglan Road
16th May – POR, then off for a week on the Disney Magic!

I am only half way through your dining review and I have to comment on your lack of enthusiam for any of the ribs you've had. I'm a Texas girl, where barbecue is king. Believe me it takes the better part of a day to barbecue great fall of the bone ribs. I'm sure the majority of chain restaurants don't take the time to do this; so I never order the ribs because I know I will only be disappointed.

I feel I need to visit Texas very soon!!

Oh I haven't been there but will keep an eye out!! My Dad works in pensions - they are always moving offices but I think he is still on Rose Lane, if you know that one?

I have calmed down over the swine flu thanks! I am sure the suituation will have improved by the time you go; there seem to be less cases each day. Butthat doesn't mean we are going to leave you any food! I hope you will be doing a food report?!

They have said there would be no point closing borders as it wouldn't stop it spreading, so fingers crossed for your trip.

Oh I am so glad you got to go there! We have promised to share a entree this year so we can actually manage our cheesecake!!!! Have a great trip next week - eek - it seems so soon!

That's so funny. I was starting to think there's something wrong with me. Every day for the past week, I would log into Weight Watchers, put in my points and then hightail it onto Pooh's thread to drool over her great reviews! (Just found this thread recently). I just found your thread yesterday and read the whole thing! I love your reviews and your sense of humor. I also had to laugh because DH and I, and especially our kids are also big "chain" fans. Hey, the menus are usually much more extensive and everyone can always find something they'll eat. Cheesecake Factory is probably my favorite restaurant ever!!! However, the fact that you guys come over here and look forward to places like Golden Corrall is pretty funny!
