As the cold winds of March arrive, we are heading towards our favorite oasis in Florida ............... WDW!


We are going to WDW in March:

My DM and I are going on a solo adult trip in March 2004. Any suggestions on the week to pick? We will actually be doing a resort recon for a family Nov. trip. This will be the first time in 20 years that we have gone. We are looking for suggestions for where to eat OUTSIDE the park. We will not be touring the parks, just resorts and DTD.

Will be in WDW March 17th - 31st!
I go with my parents but I hang out at WDW alone and meet up with them at some point during the day as I love to be on my own in the parks as I get on some of the "big" rides faster then others as I grab the calling when the cm's are looking for 1-2 people to fillin the holes!!!!!!!!!

Myself and my fiance will be going from 4 March to 18 March, we will actually be checking out about getting married too.

The kids are getting older with my #1 a freshman in college and with a different spring break than #2 who is a senior in HS. We were there last year for 9 nights, but the time went so fast we decided to do something different this year.

My DH and I will arrive at Ft. Wilderness on March 27 and my #2 will fly down with a friend arriving the evening of March 31. We'll all depart and drive home together on April 9.

Anyway, my DH and I will make the trip from the midwest on our own (we both did the driving anyway) and will have 4-1/2 days all to ourselves before the girls arrive!!!

[#1 will be home all alone for the very first time ... should I be worried?]

We plan to relax, explore the walking trails through the resorts and hit the lounges in the evening. We don't want to do anything that we'll do when the girls get down, however, this will give us an opportunity to visit Jellyrolls and some of the other resort lounges that have "expensive" drinks! With only two people to buy for, we might even fit in a restaurant or two that we've never visited!

Another side benefit is that we are creeping closer to the empty nest thing, so this will be a good way to try it out. (What do you talk about without the kids there?)

Anyway, I can't wait for our trip!!!

Well, it's great to see a bunch of you folks that are going to be at the World at the same time my DBF and I are going to be there. We are just so excited. We are going from Feb. 28 to Mar. 3, staying at CBR with the Silver Package. We are spending some of our wishes to goto Cirque Du Soleil, share a Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood and Vine, and dinners at Epcot(Teppanyaki, Nine Dragons), and a Pooh meal at the Crystal Palace. We've been reading the unofficial guide, these boards, and the Disney Website for 6 months or so. I have this secret hope that my DBF would propose to me there, but I'm thrilled to go with my love. We are both MGM and EPCOT happy cause I've been to Disney once before with my ex two years ago and I didn't have enough time to explore what I wanted to with him. I met my current DBF right before going on my last Dis trip, and my futile attempts to save my last relationship failed so my DBF won(I am quite happy he did!!!!). DBF and I love to learn about technology and the earth, both science buffs, but also looking forward to our other love at MGM, movies are our escape so we escape to MGM. Our sentimental romantic side enjoys MK on Sat. for Wishes and SpectroMagic, so that will be great. AK will cure our wide side along with Pleasure Island. I'm too excited.

My wife, son, and I will be in Disney March 8-13. We can't wait!!! We'll be staying at the Yacht Club. We will be closing on the purchase our DVC Boardwalk points about the same time!!!!!!!! I look forward to many years of Disney Fun with my family!!!

Anyone stayin' in an EPCOT area resort during this time?? Let me know and maybe we can get t'gether

March 9 -12 OKW - 12-15 La QUinta - so yes will definitely be there - tried for along time to get OKW on March 22 and couldn't so we changed.


My birthday is on the 20th - so I want to celebrate - I got told Orlando starts 15 and Kissimmee starts the 22nd. and since if you live Kissimmee then you don't need to stay at OKW - I am assuming their are several state out that week.

Can't believe it, but we're going 3/6-9. Just did WDW trip w/5 yr. old niece in tow Jan. 20-23 and booked this one on impulse yesterday. It's cool enough we're going back, but so far everything's going our way, even on such short notice - 1st choice of resorts (w/passholder disc. we didn't know was still avlbl.) DH's first choice of golf and the Epcot Segway tour was open as well! I think Mickey likes us!

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary by staying on site at POR (we were at WDW for our honeymoom but stayed off site.) I am driving him nuts with all of my planning. I have a huge Disney binder, not to mention the guide books I am hauling around!

We are eager to get away from the cold here in Colorado and come to sunny Florida. We are ending our vacation with a 3 night cruise on the Wonder!

I have been reading the DIS boards for weeks, but hadn't come across a thread talking about "green ribbons" until tonight. Wearing a Lime green ribbon somewhere on your person is a great way to identify yourself as a DIS'er. Also, Home Depot has a Disney paint line, and the paint chips are in the shape of Mickey heads - you can laminate them and make them into a pin to wear!
I am headed to the craft store to get ribbon to put on my fanny pack, luggage, unsuspecting husband.......

I have a conference at the Swan, so DW and I are going to be there for our 30th wedding anniversary (3-22). We get to hang out for about a week!

Aren't coincidences great?!?

Already got a PS for CR to watch MK fireworks. Not too anxious to get any more PS's but probably should. Just want to take it easy.....
