Riddle me this!

Here's something a little different for today's riddle.

You have a couple of task today - the first is to find the word that will bridge the two words on each line. For example, if I were to write:

POOR _ _ _ _ _ WARMING

The connecting word would be HOUSE.

Each underline and 'x' signifies one letter.

The second task is to take the letters that fall in to 'x' spots and rearrange them to spell out someone we all know and love.

Pants are going to awarded when BOTH tasks are done!

Good morning, riddle friends!

I posted this over the weekend, but will again here for those that may have missed it....

Mickey65's (Valerie) Mom is in need of our thoughts and prayers. She slipped into a coma last week and is in dire condition. Valerie believes that the titatnium rods and screws that were put in may have been infected, causing the coma.

Her Dad has been travelling back and forth to and from the hospital and home, a two-hour drive each way. This is beginning to wear greatly on him too.

So, please keep Mickey and her family in your thoughts and prayers today.
