room discounts for fla residents

i'm a dvc member residing if fla. i heard dvc members get 25% discount on disney resort rooms. do i get 25% off the fl resident rates?

No, the DVC discount , when available, is based on the rack rate for rooms at DVC resorts. The discount is only available thru MS.

The FL resident discount is based on rack rate. Disney usually doesn't stack discounts, so it's usually one or the other. But sometimes you can get one discount when another one isn't available. For example, all the AP rates are gone for your preferred resort, but the FL resident rate is still available.
