The Emmys are still on. Jimmy Kimmel is hosting again. Only he's going to be televising from an empty auditorium. Meanwhile all the nominees will be watching and televising safely from their homes. The producers sent out 150 cameras to all the nominees in 110 different locations around the world, so they will be able to do Zoom acceptance speeches from their homes surrounded by family & friends who are in their pandemic bubbles. It will certainly be different!
There will also be a virtual "Red Carpet" on E! I guess E! will be using the same cameras to Zoom some type of "Red Carpet" from the nominees' living rooms. So, basically the stars will be sashaying around their living room
all dressed up
or in their jammies this year?
EVERYONE is invited!
If you've attended before, you know the drill. (Newbies welcome!) Load up on munchies & drinks, wine & booze welcome. Including the Red Carpet, it's 5 hours!

This is a NO SPELLING POLICE THREAD!
The Spelling Police will be off duty and possibly slurring their own typing by the end of the evening. Typos & illegibility allowed! And if your posts are still making sense by hour 3, you aren't sloshed enough.
Or, we are as toasted as you are!
Let's have another fun evening!
