The Bad Mothers' Handbook Pre-Trippy *Updated 13/10 with itinerary*

Looks as though you could soon be changing the title to The Gatecrashers Handbook :rotfl: .
 
People who insist they don't want to over plan a vacation (what's that mean anyway?) and just let things happen, miss the point of planning and a whole lot of the fun. You know that. You've already started the vacation.

Since Tony is "gate crashing" (Debbie's apt suggestion for a revamped TR title), I think I'll try my luck, too. You know, Joh, if you're really concerned about being a bad (baddest) mother, remember that we've talked about my borrowing Daniel to be my WDW escort sometime and I'll be happy to extend that invitation to the girls as well (if you think they could keep up with Daniel and me), then you and Gary could just drop the kids off when you get there and pick them up when it's time to go home. Perhaps not this trip that you're planning with Natalie as it looks like this is a more-the-merrier deal, but some time . . . You're planning to go many more times, aren't you?
 
Wow - what a great start! Can't believe I will have to wait in suspense for a whole year to read about your trip! :)

Im gutted you havn't offered to take my kids as well, their reputation must spread further than i thought :lmao:
 
Sounds like a fab trip and loads of fun. Me and DD will be there at the same time.

Dear Natalie,
I've heard nothing of your children's reputations, but you can tell us all about them here--with a year long trip report, there should be plenty of time. I'm sure that some readers will be horrifed that you've just offered your children to a complete stranger. On the other hand, most readers have no idea that we've never met so probably won't think to call the Department of Child Protection. As I have met Joh and Gary,I think we could make a case with the authorities that allowing me to take care of their kids is an informed decision. We could solve the whole matter of the appropriateness of your turning over your kids to me by just meeting some day. Let's pencil that on our Some Day lists.

The discussion about Daniel being my Disney escort began last year when Joh wrote in her TR about how Daniel doesn't just keep up with the group, he's in for the long haul, still ready to go when others are flagging. Then there's that fact that his great smile really sparks up the vacation photos. All together, the perfect Disney companion.
 
Susan, as I'm sure you must know by now, from our correspondence over the previous months, you would most definitely be more than welcome to join our merry little band. And you must also know that I am happy to offload my children whenever I get the opportunity :rotfl: I can say, without doubt, that my children would jump at the chance to spend some time with you and I'm sure will find your company as delightful as Gary and I did - although you do know they're too young for Jellyrolls ;)

On a slightly more serious note, I do hope we get the chance to coincide our trips to Disney World again soon however you're so in demand with the Churchills, Stringers and all the other friends you have made here that you may have to consider a permanent move to Orlando :)

And, despite Nat's protests to the contrary, her children are remarkably well behaved, although they aren't quite the little angels they appear from their photograph (but nor are mine, for that matter) - however, without our delightful children, Nat and I wouldn't be able to live up to our 'Bad Mothers' reputation :rotfl:

And Deb, I've got to say that I love your take on the 'Bad Mothers' title - I am hoping that, with the aid of a few bevvies along the way, Nat and I will be able to uphold it.
