'Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions were down!

I, in my bathrobe
With a ***** in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink

He then rallied his posse
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear the country apart!

' On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi'
He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

Time will tell..........1 simple question, are you better off today then 8 years ago??????? I did not think so.

In case any of you haven't heard, to cut down on the long lines at the polls, they are asking all Democrats to vote on Wednesday.:thumbsup2

I think we are better off today than if we'd have spent the last 8 years under John Kerry. The one area in which we are particularly worse off has almost nothing to do with the president and everything to do with wall street treating our country's prosperity like a blackjack table.

We can primarily thank Jimmy Carter & Ronald Reagan for today's economy. 1 Democrat & 1 Republican. Oh yeah, we can also thank the 2004 to current Congress for sitting on their hands and not invoking banking and investment regulations already in place and stopping the ruination of Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae.

Whoever wins this Presidency is going to have to pull a rabbit out of their hat to fix this economy.

The greater issue is to make sure you are educated in who is running for Senate and Congress, local Gov't positions, and the Amendments. It's not JUST about the presidency.

I agree about John Kerry. I also agree with Wall Street being a factor, due to in a large part to deregulation. But I mostly blame the buyers who purchased homes they could not afford. Think of it this way, if you can only afford 1 week at the Fort, who's fault is it if you stay 3 weeks????
I am looking forward to tomorow and the results. Will be interesting to see if the country is racist or sexist.

Although I am better off than I was 8 years ago, I didn't think Bush was running this time??? Believe me, John MCCain is not Bush, even if that's the main claim of one party.
I am not too worried about Palin being a "heartbeat away from the Presidency." Maybe we should have somebody who's not a lawyer in the Presidency for a change.

That's exactly what your going to have left is change in your pockets. It's not going to be easy, but when they start all these new programs, and they think I'm going to keep paying more taxes then I will just completely quit doing any work and they can pay me to do nothing like the rest of them. If enough people quit work and held there hand out like 40% of the people do now they wouldn't have enough money to go around and they might have to rethink their stupid policies. Then I start to come back to reality and know that most of the people can not function without the government telling them what to do. It all comes back to wealth envy. Why aren't they handing out all those millions he collected to campaign with. That would really show he means what he says. Not just some empty talking point.

i'm going to run, my platform will be change. change chang change, it's gonna be better because i'm going to change it. Too bad we lost George Carlin, he would have had a ball with this. I wish I could change that.

Democrat, Republican or Independent, I thought Disney was the one thing we all could get behind. My affinity for Disney is stronger then any canidate or party. But feel free to cancel any plans, there are alot of us who need some extra dates.

Amen.
