I hear you on that first point ... Dinner Impossible just isn't the same with Michael Simon, even though I do like him.

October is a great time of year to visit the Mouse ... hopefully you'll get there sooner rather than later. :goodvibes

They shoulda let him stay just an Iron Chef... he's not as frantic or excessive in his use of peaches as Robert is... ;)

Just came back from a quickie trip to Virginia Beach with with my hubby. I am definately in. :goodvibes

OK, one of you guys had better get a pic of those massive arms for me.:rotfl:

I like Mike Simon but he's not nearly as good on Dinner Impossible.

We're watching Dinner Impossible right now ... Symon (I spelled his name wrong earlier) is just too nice. He needs a new staff and he needs to scare the bejeebus out of them. :rotfl2:

I'll see what I can do in the Irvine bicep department next month, but I think Jeanne will do a better job than I will. ;)

Yummy! It all sounds delicious:woohoo: I can't wait for the reviews.

Glad to have you here - I hope it's all delicious. Or not undelicious. :lmao:

He's a little too scatterbrained for my taste ... but at least he's having fun!

Hey Bridget! Happy to see you're joining the fun ... well, maybe it's not much fun now but it will be eventually. :thumbsup2 Hope you had a good trip!

Can't wait!

Hi Hedy! Good to see you!! :goodvibes

Ooo,Ooo,Ooh, I must be dreaming; there I was, eating my cheese plate last week at CG, and thinking of you (yes, I suppose I am a sick puppy; but I can't eat sushi or a cheeze plate and not think of ya'll and Plankton anymore.) I'm so glad to hear you're gonna make F&W after all, you know I have to get my F&W kicks vicariously until those darn kids get big enough to leave em home. Can't wait to hear more:banana:

:rotfl2: You poor thing ... to have your meals haunted by two wack-jobs from Missorui. Now tell me, was that cheese plate at CA Grill as good as I suspect that it will be when we order it next month?

I hope the reviews to come will be worth the wait!

Excellent:thumbsup2

Thanks ... come back and see us when we have some real reviews posted! :goodvibes

Really looking forward to this review!

Sarah

Thanks so much - we're looking forward to them too! :thumbsup2

B, I am looking forward to hearing about your thoughts on the Dole Whip :thumbsup2 I hate pineapple and I'm not even a big ice cream lover but for some reason, I love those things!!!

And as for watching the fireworks from the CG, if you are still in the vicinity, you could always go back up after your dinner (with your dinner check!) and see them from the outdoor balcony. I remember when mere peons who weren't dining there could sneak up and watch them from that balcony for free :snooty: Oh yeah, I was said peon in 1999 and 2000 :lmao: Then in 2002 I was forced to buy a $4 coke from the bar and then in 2003 I was completely banned  Basty Nastards! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

We are actually going to the PFTS on the 18th! Sorry, didn't mean to confuse you. :)

It's a running gag between friends of ours and my husband, that I can't wait to touch Chef Robert Irvine's massive arms. Cameras will be ready. :woohoo:

At least this time I know enough to ask for a ceramic pot for my tea. No spotted French press for this girl! ;)

OK - I've got it! Make sure you get your picture taken with him while you're fondling his arms! :goodvibes

If Jeanne has the nerve to go up and get a pic of Robert's massive arms, I'll go up there, too. And I'll make sure Brenda has my camera to take a pic. How about we ask him to do a Gaston pose, and Jeanne and I act like the "silly girls"?

I'm kinda bummed that I don't have an opportunity to wear the tea cosy hat.

I just LOVE your reviews!!! I can't wait to read about your new dining adventures!

Have a wonderful trip! :wizard:

Yay - a new report from Brenda!! :cool1: Good times!

Your food-tineraries look incredible, as always. We are just missing you - we arrive on October 20, so no random Brenda/Jason/Planky sightings this year. We are also missing PFTS on October 25 since we leave the next morning at the crack of dawn. I really waffled over booking it, but the idea of a food and wine hangover, mixed with flying across the country at the crack of dawn, mixed with the cost of the tickets....you see where I'm going. Oh well, maybe next year...

Looking forward to more! :thumbsup2

First we have to see how big his body guards are!! :rotfl:

Then, yes I do plan on asking, um begging. I like the Gaston pose, good idea. I am a blonde, you know. ;)

October 11th - This day is totally up in the air, although at the moment we're leaning towards MGM and a light breakfast at Starring Rolls. The other option is to just make this a really lazy day where we just hang out at the pool, in which case we might wander over to DTD and have breakfast at Wolfgang Puck Express. The reason for no real food plans is that we're gonna be stuffing our faces at Party for the Senseless at Epcot tonight. :woohoo: For those of you unfamiliar with PFTS, here's the official description:

Feast on this tribute to the sensory arts! Begin your evening with a reserved seat at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series at the America Gardens Theatre (we'll be skipping this, thanks anyway). Following the show, the World Showplace Pavilion becomes the setting for a sensational evening showcasing the talents of more than 25 eminent chefs and the diversity of over 70 wines and beers. Wander among tempting tasting stations in the midst of imaginative decor and live (not Cirque) entertainment.

We plan to grow large with food this evening and there may be a rumble at the cheese station if Kabuki and I arrive there at the same time ... stay tuned for further details! ;)

I guess I have been out of the loop and just saw this.. I resemble this statment! ;)
Can't wait for your reviews and I am loving the pre-trip-happieness!

Brenda - I was so excited to see a new report. Somehow it snuck past me that it was almost October, which means not only my own trip to WDW, but a new trippie from you! I just realized today that my trip is like 2 weeks away! and :dance3: at the same time! Anyway, thanks for all the time you put into your reports to make the rest of us happy. :)
