refund watch 2014

California has authorized my return and should have it soon...still no change on the federal...it just says received. I'm very nervous, cause I waited 10 and a half months for when we filed last year.

Ughhhh... Filed 2/5 and accepted same day. Still in processing. I'm an IC and every year filing taxes gives me the worst anxiety. I wish they would hurry up and approve!

Filed using TT on 2/6, accepted 2/7 updated to approved on 2/11, Your tax refund is scheduled to be sent to your bank by February 14, 2014.

If your refund is not credited to your account by February 19, 2014, check with your bank to see if it has been received.

Very excited for this, because although it isn't anywhere near as much as I used to get when I had kids at home, it is what will be using to help set up the nursery for my first grandchild due in August.

Does anyone have any experience with offsets? I believe that we have one this year...albeit a VERY tiny one that somehow went un-noticed!

Anyhow, we filed on 1/31 --- accepted on 2/2 ---- and still on the one bar. Do you have any thoughts on how long it will take for an offset to go through? I was under the impression that it should be rather quickly, like within a day or two. Any ideas???

What do you mean by one bar? I see the IRS site is divided into 3 sections...when you say one bar, do you mean one section? I keep seeing people speaking of the bars...

Yes...one bar=one section. When you get 2 "bars", that means you are approved and you should have a Deposit date, 3 "bars" mean your refund has been deposited.

Well, starting to get very discouraged. Woke up this morning and the status bar has disappeared. Now I just get generic message that my refund is being processed. Anyone have this happen?

Mine has been like that all week. We filed Feb 3rd. State has already paid but Fed is just sitting there with no status bar. :/

This is a good thing! Mine disappeared and 2 days later I got a dd date! From the forums I've read, disappeared bars means its being processed in the system and is changing over to the treasury to get a dd date. You'll more than likely get a date tomorrow morning.

Same here. It has been that way for a few days. I just checked this morning and still that way. I always worry that it means something bad but hopefully it just means they are in the process of changing it to approve. We have a Tax Account do our taxes and have never had any problems but I always worry until that money is in our account.

Went to CPA 2/1- filed and accepted 2/5- received Federal 2/12 and state (AZ) 2/14- paying cruise in full today- now to book excursions

Seriously frustrated here too!!!! Absolutely NO change at all. No change on the transcripts page either? Sheesh. It is a good thing that we don't absolutely have to have the money at a specific time. I am more nervous that there is something wrong with it and it is going to be a nasty time getting through it all. Grrrr...

Got my refund today!! Now I can paint the walls and buy blinds for my new house. Plus pay off the furniture. I am now once again back to a zero debt....except the mortgage.

It's not just you.

We filed 2/3. Went to dinner and when we got home we had been accepted.

We have no direct deposit date yet.

The status bars disappeared on Tuesday but we still have nothing.

Ok...I have good news! YAY!

So, I went in to check my transcripts again. In the past, I kept checking to see if there was a * next to the 2013 under Return Transcript, which said that the return had not been filed. But, today, I realized that I needed to also check my Account Transcript. On my account transcript, I actually had a cycle code, which was 20140705. After doing some research, I found out that this means we should have our return by 2/19/2014! So...if you are in limbo land too, check your account transcript and see if you have a cycle code there.

Yeah not just you . We filed our taxes (TT) on 2/5 was accepted the same day and since then nothing has change.

I filed on Feburary 9th and after checking the "Where's my Refund" page impatiently for 3 days (they even blocked me one day saying I checked it too much- haha) on February 13th I got a direct deposit date of February 18th

Just tried to order my return transcript and it finally went through. I was able to order my account transcript last week, but up until this afternoon the return was unavailable. Hoping this is a good sign, anyone have any idea? I would like to pay off our WDW trip!!!

I had a return transcript and it had the same cycle code. I've never looked st this before....
