I Am NOT a Bad, Bad Baby -- TR final updates 9/12

Coral Reef is another one of those restaurants that's never really on my radar (I guess because it's so tucked away) but the food pics from there always look good and I love the idea of being up close and personal with the fish! Now that we're trying for our Golden Spoon I can't put in on the backburner much longer!

I am hopeful for Alisha's trip to Mayo, unexplained diagnoses are excruciating for both patient and family, I really hope they come up with a good treatment plan for her!

Every one of these posts just makes me so happy. You seem to have such a special bond with these girls, which is so lovely to see! You must have endlessly fun times all the time!

The only time I've eaten at Coral Reef was pre-kids...so over 20 years ago! I remember that the butter was in the shape of Mickey ::MickeyMo, like a little mini-statue. We were really impressed by that!

Yay for more Dismeets!

Okay, okay, I'll do a trip report. Even if you and Lisa are the only ones who read it. ::yes::

Greats WS pics! I'm hoping to explore it more this time as last visit we only kind of ran through. My girls are so looking forward to the Mexico ride again. They like the part where Donald looses his swimming suit.

I love the Perry lunchboxes. We may have to check that place out!

Kathy, you have a great trip too! We'll "see" you when we're both back!

Looks like a good day at Epcot. Really getting anxious for my upcoming trip. We really enjoy World showcase. Hubby loves to go to the Biergarten for dinner. I also am very excited. Magic bands arrived yesterday1. Today I managed to get ressies for Be Our Guest Lunch with Fast pass. We were hoping to have dinner there on Oct. 7 for our 35th anniversary, unfortunately it has had no openings for dinner since our booking window opened.:( I've been trying to get lunch and that wasn't available either until today. Yippee!! I really just want to see the restaurant. Any lunch menu suggestions from those of you who have eaten there?

You got some wonderful pictures of World Showcase!

The girls look very excited to see each other. I have never been to the Boardwalk so I enjoyed seeing your pictures of your walk there. :goodvibes

As my hubby reminded me this morning, it's single digit day.:banana::yay::yay::dance3::dance3:

:banana::banana::banana: YESSSSSSSSS Single digit dancing!

And is there a total of three DISmeets in one day :worship: Very cool, and the girls look so happy together (singing the song in my head):goodvibes

Loved reading about your experiences at Epcot Kathy! :thumbsup2 Love that park and how it has so much to offer but then saying that the same can be said about the other parks ha ha :lmao:

Sounds like you guys had a great meal at Coral Reef. Loved seeing Chip n Dale and yay on the girls getting involved in the hat pics!

It's great that you met some more DIS friends as well ;)

YAY for not one, but two great Dismeets!
Loving all the World Showcase pics! :thumbsup2 I so love it there.

And of course...

:dance3: SINGLE DIGIT DANCE!! :dance3:

Still reading… just not posting as much. :rolleyes1

Let me beat a dead horse…. the WS looks deserted. I hope that is what the crowds are gonna look like in a week! :hyper:

We have never eaten at Coral Reef. It does look good… maybe one of these days. :confused3

Great pics!

Oh yea… congrats on single digits. I've heard all the cool people are now in single digits! :lmao:

Oh heaven help me; I'll tell him you said that when I see him on Sunday.
Thanks. I'm sure he won't see it otherwise, and I'd hate to talk about him behind his back. :rolleyes1

After trying on sombreros, it was time to go on the Mexican version of a Slow Boat to China while we waited for our DIS meet.
It's a Small Mexico... just like Small World, but with margaritas and a better soundtrack. What's not to like???

We went and saw the movie in China.
I don't even know when the last time was that I saw this one...

Up next, some fun in the pool on our last night at the World
Last night? That's might be worse than the last day...

What a gorgeous day at Epcot! Your Coral Reef meal looks delicious! I love that the waiter took a photo for you, it is nice to be able to have a picture of everyone together :goodvibes

Last day at the world coming up already?! :rotfl: Trips go by too quickly!

Love your walk around Epcot. We have never actually explored the America pavilion, I think we need to.

:yay:Hooray for DISmeets, so fun!

Looks like the girls were all happy to see eachother :goodvibes

 single digits

Don't you just love Dismeets! No one else understands our love for Disney like they do ;) We love WS touring as for me it never gets old. Your post on the movie in China makes me want to return to see it again in December as I have only seen it once.

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

They are so fun, Lori. I'm counting on hooking up with you one day...seems we've known each other since the CSR thread. I enjoy the China film.

Yay for another DIS meet. Looks like fun! Cute picture of everyone!

We enjoyed seeing Bob and Carolyn again and had fun talking.

The world showcase looks really empty! Nice!

It wasn't too bad.

I love the American Adventure! One of my favs. It's especially good if you need a quick nap!

I enjoy the show; but it is also a good place for a short snooze.

Great pictures of the girls!

Thanks!

Nice meet with Bob & Carolyn. I love seeing the faces behind the names! :)

I'm with you, Dee; after talking for so long on the DIS, it's nice to see the face behind our names.

How do the girls do with the meets? I'm sure they are used to them and probably enjoy them almost as much as you do. Especially the one with the other girls- too cute!

Cayley has been shy once or twice, but very rare. They are both very outgoing girls. Avery was actually shy when she first met our oldest son. Cayley on the other hand immediately declared him her new boyfriend. And, as you said, they are used to them.

What pretty World Showcase pictures. I love the one of the lily pads.

Thank you; it's such a beautiful area to get pictures of.

Sa-weet! You hitched a ride back to the resort!

It saved us the hassle of the bus for sure.

:goodvibes

Gotta love avoiding the bus if you can.

Hi Kathy! I'm caught up again - I confess I was so far behind I just went to the links. You have been a Mega Updater the past few days! I know your trip is coming up, so you want to get done.

Yes, Tammie, I do want to get them done.

Lots of rides, and food and hats and DIS meets! Oh My! You had a great end to your park days, except the torture! :rotfl2:

It really was a fun trip!

I'm sorry to hear that Alisha is struggling with her health. I hope they can get some answers for her and a treatment plan. I would encourage her to eat clean - no packaged foods with preservatives, dyes, etc. and use organic products on her skin - I'm telling you the food industry is poisoning us! I'll be praying for her. I feel bad that Markie is having so much trouble with his back at such a young age.

She has been miserable for awhile. Mark does most of the cooking and it is very, very rare for him to use packaged foods.

If I don't make it back over here before you leave, have a great trip!!!! :yay:

Thank you very much.

Yay for a DISmeet! Gotta love 'em. We never did explore the China pavilion or the Mexico pavilion on our previous two trips. That's one thing we're gonna try to do on our next trip - slow down and just look around and explore.

Thanks Darla; it was great seeing the again. You must slow down and try to visit all the countries. They all have something unique to offer.

I'll single digit dance with you!!!!!!

I bet you will. :goodvibes

Great job on the DIS meet!

Thanks, Captain.

As others have commented, it really does look empty.

It was that particular day in that area.

So the Slow Boat To China actually did take you there?

Yep!

Aw, they got rid of the burger with the pulled pork on top.

I don't recall ever seeing that on the menu.

Hooray for single digits!

So excited.

The girls A&E shirts are very cute.

Aren't they? They got those when they got their Elsa doll.

We ate at Coral Reef once in the past and enjoyed it but so many places to eat in EPCOT, makes it hard sometimes to get back to some unless they really, really "wow" you

It is hard to go back; it didn't make the cut this time. Actually, just cancelled Nine Dragons which was new to us because Mark saw the F&W menu as I explained in my PTR.

Love just walking around EPCOT, especially the WS - just so photogenic.

Such great photo opportunities!

The girls looks so happy to all be together again and just walking together, etc.

They really were; you couldn't get a word in if you wanted too either.

Love all the WS photos!! We fell in love with the WS on this day. I think we spent twice as much time in WS, than in Future World during our time at Epcot and we didn't see half of what we could have. Which reminds me... aren't you forgetting a quick impromptu Dis meet in Norway?;) And I was the one who had already had two margaritas!!:rotfl:

I hear you Sara. Mark and I love spending more time in WS than in FW. I am sooooooooooooooo sorry. I did forget our impromptu DIS meet in Norway. Please forgive me. I guess without the picture and no note taking that it slipped my mind :sad2:

What is a Golden Spoon?

I am hopeful for Alisha's trip to Mayo, unexplained diagnoses are excruciating for both patient and family, I really hope they come up with a good treatment plan for her!

Thank you very much; I hope so too.

Every one of these posts just makes me so happy. You seem to have such a special bond with these girls, which is so lovely to see! You must have endlessly fun times all the time!

Hi Maddiebee. I do...they are very special girls. They and their mother mean a lot to us. Are you doing a TR?

The only time I've eaten at Coral Reef was pre-kids...so over 20 years ago! I remember that the butter was in the shape of Mickey ::MickeyMo, like a little mini-statue. We were really impressed by that!

I think you are due back after that long of a time, Glenn.

Yay for more Dismeets!

Never enough DIS meets. I have one this Sunday and can't wait.

Okay, okay, I'll do a trip report. Even if you and Lisa are the only ones who read it. ::yes::

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: I'm sure you'll have other readers as well. But you are guaranteed Lisa and me.

Greats WS pics! I'm hoping to explore it more this time as last visit we only kind of ran through. My girls are so looking forward to the Mexico ride again. They like the part where Donald looses his swimming suit.

I hope you get more time to explore; the girls will enjoy browsing some of the shops...especially Japan.

I love the Perry lunchboxes. We may have to check that place out!

They are NOT in Liberty Tree Inn. There is a place outside of it that sells popcorn, etc., and that is where you get them.

Kathy, you have a great trip too! We'll "see" you when we're both back!

Be sure to link your TR here so I don't miss it. Or better yet, PM me the info.

I can't believe we are missing by a couple of weeks. :(

We used to like Biergarten but the food just wasn't that good last time. If they brought back the veal schnitzel, I'd be there ina heart beat.

YAY on getting a ressie for BOG. Keep trying for BOG. I booked it two days ago for our trip next week (I've since cancelled it because Mark said he didn't want to do lunch and dinner). We've not eaten lunch at BOG, but I've heard good things about the roast beef sandwich.

Yay!!!!!!! Single digits!!!!!!

Thanks, Karin.

You got some wonderful pictures of World Showcase!

Thanks, Steph.

The girls look very excited to see each other. I have never been to the Boardwalk so I enjoyed seeing your pictures of your walk there. :goodvibes

They were; if I'm not mistaken, they had not seen each other since our girls trip the year before. You've never been to the Boardwalk after all of your visits?

:banana::banana::banana: YESSSSSSSSS Single digit dancing!

Thanks, Jeanette.

And is there a total of three DISmeets in one day :worship: Very cool, and the girls look so happy together (singing the song in my head):goodvibes

They were happy to be together again.

Woot Woot for single digits!

Jill in CO

Thanks Jill. :goodvibes

YAY for a DISmeet!! :thumbsup2

Always fun to have a DIS meet; looking forward to several next week.

Loving all your pictures of WS -- almost (ALMOST) feels like I'm there ;)

Thanks; I appreciate it.

Loved reading about your experiences at Epcot Kathy! :thumbsup2 Love that park and how it has so much to offer but then saying that the same can be said about the other parks ha ha :lmao:

It can; but the World Showcase just gives it a little something special.

Sounds like you guys had a great meal at Coral Reef. Loved seeing Chip n Dale and yay on the girls getting involved in the hat pics!

It was a good meal; and Chip and Dale were so much fun. The girls do that for Mr. Mark every trip.

It's great that you met some more DIS friends as well ;)

Like I've said before, always fun to meet DIS friends.

YAY for not one, but two great Dismeets!
Loving all the World Showcase pics! :thumbsup2 I so love it there.

Thanks, Wendy; and I get to have one with you a week from Monday. :)

And of course...

:dance3: SINGLE DIGIT DANCE!! :dance3:

And you are now doing the single digit dance too.:banana::banana:
