2017 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 31, 2017 - November 13, 2017

Is there a map of where the booths are located?

Not yet. However, it may be worth mentioning that if a booth is represented by a country in the World Showcase, that's where you will find it. So, France's booth is in France, Scotland's booth is in the U.K. and so forth.

Yes, that is helpful. I was assuming so, but better to know for sure.

Oh my gosh that would be amazing! We're going to be there sept 9 and not at Epcot until 14th. Is it possible for someone there to have held at the desk for me so it wouldn't have to be shipped?

I'm sorry, I just don't know. Typically you can have a package shipped to any resort and the resort would hold it for you, so I don't see why they wouldn't hold a package with your name on it? But I've never tried. Are you coming from outside of America? Otherwise you might get a nice local or someone planning an early trip to mail it to you in the US - wouldn't cost much.

Another thought might be to pick up cute little journals for your friends and just print out the booth information. I know a URL doesn't wrap well but there are lots of cute things you could do with a print out of the booth menus. I picked up the clear plastic plates with wine glass holder like this:

From my local wine shop and they had cute journals with wine tasting notes and other cute festival appropriate gifts. Maybe something like that?

This may have already been addressed, but is the sampler package worth it? We're not doing a disney dining package, so everything is OOP (although we have a bunch of Disney gift cards/Disney rewards $). Are drinks part of it?

The sampler package does work on lost drinks, but not all of them. The break-even for the 8-coupon sampler was about $7.25 per item, and the 16-coupon book broke even at 6.50. There were only two or three food items that exceeded that price.

Scotland has been at the front a few years

Last year's passport says Scotland was located between UK and Canada.

Has there been an official announcement that the Sampler will be back this year? I haven't seen any reference to it this year.

I don't believe so. The passports are like park guide maps - you can pick them up for free at the park entrance with maps or around world showcase at booths and shops. Usually when the map is released someone will post a PDF link so you could use that and the Disney website or Disney Food Blog to look at the items in the car and plan.

When is your trip? You might be able to find another DISer who would mail you some passports.

I'll be there 8/24-9/6. I can pick one up for you and mail it when I get back. I'd just need a reminder closer to my trip. We'll be at Beach Club 8/30-9/6 so I can pick one up whenever. If I can figure out how to mail it from the resort, I can do that too. If you message me, I can give you my cell number so you can remind me. :)

Sorry to bother but you can help me out? I am having trouble printing out the spreadsheet. Can someone tell me how to make that magic happen for this primitive computer challenged person? Thank you!

Google's page is indeed terrible for printing. Here's a link to download it as a PDF: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JU9hcehkNuEzsUzo-oaRhTF_hUaIAH3W4iJfvWjjhoY/pub?output=pdf

Thank you so much! Wishing pixie dust your way! This is our first time DH and I are going to Disney unsupervised we are so excited but I am clueless about Food & Wine. This is a wonderful resource you have developed we are benefiting from greatly, thank you for sharing your talent here!

It is not being offered this year because they lost too much money on them

I haven't heard that about the Sampler Package. I believe many people used the coupons for food items under the threshold, so I would have expected Disney to profit from it.

Could you be thinking of the premium package which was discontinued last year because it wasn't profitable?

You know what? You're right that's the one I was thinking of I apologize

Oh, so maybe they will have it? We'll be traveling with a handful of gift cards, so to scoop up sampler packages would be nice. But only if I can buy drinks too!!:drinking::smooth:
