DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

I should have driven done a bit further to Mike's. Those are some mighty fine vittles there.
You defiantly should have - could have cooked up some crab legs for the missus
Both you and Dan did it right over the weekend. Marinating a London Broil for dinner tonight. Since I am the only meat eater in the house there is going to be plenty of leftovers.
So how'd it come out?
I got dibs on mooching off CJ. He has camper hookups for me when i park the camper in his front yard and empty the chemical toilet into the storm drain.

It's a bit ironic. When I looked up what we call London broil 6-8 months ago, it's what the butchers call a particular cut of meat (top round steak typically 1-1/2 to 2 inches thick) where it should be how the meat is prepared. Someone FROM London has to look it up and you know we've got a problem. :lmao:
:rotfl:
Don’t let my Missus know there’s such a thing or well be needin’ a new device for our kitchen.
But then again, she’s already got a computer controlled pressure cooker.
I bet it’s actually the same thing.

Beside, she’s an excellent cook, so I don’t quite know what the heck I’m complaining about here.

Never mind…
Likely the extra early start is causing the rambling?

Happy Tuesday. Gym, office, and going out for pizza buffet lunch with the family. Work at church tonight. Nice boring life is good.

Those blown out crocks sure did a lot of damage in a short space of time.
Good that you’re back into you routine.

Thanks. I'd hear the NFL commentators talk about players missing for "turf toe", and i thought they should just sick it up with all the million$. I have a better understanding.

It is difficult to mess up a meal in the crock pot. Only problem is sitting in the house while it cooks for hours. Smells so good and it makes me hungr

?

I've made lobster and crab at home in a big pot we have. Even did the butter. It tastes better at the restaurant. Or maybe it's just the clean up.

I do believe that this is certain proof that the name actually has nothing to do with London.
Yep, you got that right. Never heard of it. Don't even get me started on broiling. Thats not even a word over here.
So, what’s it like?
Ah, ya never let me down Rob....:thumbsup2
Just been busy. Mostly good stuff.
Long may it continue sir.
All is not quiet on the job front. Could have some interesting news later this week. Discovery Channel is in the lab today to talk to her and others about the work they are doing. They were on the boat last week to film them tagging. The kid might get some airtime. If they show it, I'll let everyone know.
Well thats a little bit cool.

I will get used to multi quoting again. Until then enjoy those meals, good job Pirate princess on the job. See now i forget what else was said need to go reread again

Argument with the Mrs tonight. She brought up something I did wrong 13 years ago. How does one even start to challenge that? I probably shouldn't have said to get the car up to 88 mph. :lmao: :scared1:

 drive-by.

secretly planning an April trip dont tell anyone

Sounds fun. School trip? Band trip? Dole whip trip?

Don't tell anyone what?

Carl's going on secret Spring Break trip.

Re-read posts? Who does that? :lmao:

Top O the Mornin Dads! All I got except, Carl is planning an April trip. That and the loud crash you heard was my Disney stock as a result of their Q3 results - thanks to ESPN.

Most stocks seem to be tanking lately, so you're not alone.
Tell anyone about what?

Morning all…
Still not quite awake, but on the up side, that’s doesn’t seem to be having much effect on my productivity levels.

Likely the extra early start is causing the rambling?
Mmmmm… could be.

But then again, there’s historical evidence that it don’t take much to get me rambling.

True, true and yep.

One of the better things to come out a crock pot in our house is a variation on roasted pork ribs.
No smoke involved so you wouldn’t call it barbeque, but oh my dear lord, are those things scrumptious.

It’s the cleanup bit of it…
That alone makes nearly any meal made by anyone other than you taste all that much better.

Not to worry,
Sooner or later I will (just as with every other Yank you’ve ever run across, it’s inevitable).

I figured the American use of London in Broil as about as relevant as the French in Fries
(and yeah, I know there not “fries” over that way).

So “broil” is American as well? What word do y’all apply for the method of roasting something at better than 500 degrees within three inches of the heat source?

secretly planning an April trip dont tell anyone
Ahhhh, now I get it.
When I initially saw the first post I figured you were just embracing your new moniker.

See now i forget what else was said need to go reread again
Read…
Again!!!

Oh, the humanity!!!

Managed to find a few minutes to get together with Darcy yesterday.
Pictures or it didn't happen.

I suggested filet mignon and lobster tail, but then he told me I had to pay, so....
Makes sense, but if that’s one of “those burgers” that I’ve head you mention, then my understanding is that it was probably as good or better than the surf-n-turf would have been.

Glad y’all got to hang out

Argument with the Mrs tonight. She brought up something I did wrong 13 years ago. How does one even start to challenge that?
Yeah, that one’s coded into the marriage vows.
They get to do it…
We don’t.

Simple as that.

I probably shouldn't have said to get the car up to 88 mph. :lmao: :scared1:
Oh no, you most assuredly should have.
You have to factor in the consequences of doing so, but not saying it would have been out of the question.

Carl's going on secret Spring Break trip.
But is it “secret” or is it “double secret”…

makes a difference.

the loud crash you heard was my Disney stock as a result of their Q3 results - thanks to ESPN.
The SW-Land openings will turn that around in the near.
Maybe…

Don’t have any of their individual stock myself (unless it’s just part of one of the index funds)
Always meant to, but never got around to it.
