I love credit cards so much!

DH and I both now have $40 pending from RMN since I made a run with his acct at lunch time. Hopefully he won’t complain too much since it is real money and not URs :)

I also made a run at lunch time. Created an account for DH and put his card info in. (One of the cards I got for him but never gave to him). I went to CVS, Home Depot and Walgreens. Both CVS and Home Depot went pending ASAP but Walgreens is still not Pending. Does that meant the purchase did not go through and I will not be credited?

I didn't realize Home Depot had other Gift Cards. When I went last night on my Account I just looked up at the register and only saw Home Depot Gift cards so got one of those. Oh well, not like we won't use it.

Has anyone used the offer at Kohls and got a 3rd party gift card?

On another topic. Normally our vacations have been Disney or Cruise since kids were born. (they are now 19 and 17). We have been to Cabo and Colorado but not ventured very far. I talked to DH and Kids and said I would really like to plan a trip for Summer 2020 (next summer DD graduates and is going to China for a mission trip) somewhere international. Trying to branch out a bit. I just get so overwhelmed thinking of where to go and how to get there - it is so unfamiliar. I am working on getting a bunch of AA points now. Started DH and I on those - so hoping to use those points for flights. Looked at their award charts and they go lots of international places. Is AA a decent airline to use for International Travel (have never flown them before - we fly mostly Southwest).

You guys seem to know so much and travel all over the place. I get anxiety just thinking about it. Like the language barrier and how to get around etc... I think we are leaning towards Europe. So many places. Looking at maybe 3-4 different places (probably a 10 day trip or so). France, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Germany, Greece, Venice.. How to pick??

I just ordered 3 Travel Guide books on Amazon - so hoping that will help. I heard the trains are a good way to get around - are they easy to use? Any suggestions would be great.

Will have some MR Points (have 85,000 right now). I have about 130,000 UR's and hoping to add on to that with CIP #2 for both DH and I. I have almost 400,000 Marriott Points and currently about $800 each on 2 Barclay Arrival + Cards. Waiting on Points for Barclay AA for DH and I (100,000 total). Just got Citi AA Business Card and will use for Mortgage (Plastiq) for 2 months and will get DH Citi AA and use for Mortgage (another 140,000 points) and then cancel and repeat on those. Would love to not have to fly coach if possible, but don't like to just waste points either. Does AA charge fees to fly to Europe. I know some airlines the fees are more than the ticket.

Sorry so long. Just trying to figure out where to start on this and you guys know everything... Thanks.

I had that happen with Staples a few weeks ago. I never did get that offer and I wasn’t going to question it since it had been partially a gift card.

Am I missing something... thinking of setting up a 2nd RMN account with a different email address and cards not linked in the 1st account. Proabably will create a new PayPal account too. This should work right?

Their cokes are definitely the best though.

Yes! I wish all places had coke as good as there's. I do like McD's biscuits too, but not all places have good ones. I'm anxiously awaiting the Dick's Drive In near me to open next month so I can go more often, which is bad, but better than having to drive into Seattle to go. It's a small local family owned chain that doesn't often raise their prices, uses good stuff for their burgers and fries and you have to pay a nickle for each ketchup :) They added two items to their menu last month, the first update in many years, a plain burger and plain cheeseburger, because you can't special order. So now there's 6 different burgers, one size fry, pop, milkshakes and ice cream/sundae on the menu. No kids meals, no combo's, just good food for a good price. And they finally started taking credit/debit cards a few years ago :)

Taco Time is about the only other fast food I eat.

Went to one Kohl's today and they didn't have any gc I wanted, so I'll try another tomorrow/Thursday. They did have some cute Mickey stuff in the junior dept for his 90th bday. Not sure if they had any in the kids. They also have Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy as their stuffy of the month for charity. Not sure the price but they were cute. Could make good xmas or pixie dust presents for the park/pre trip present.

Do also still need to hit Home Dept and CVS for gc since this will also be an easy help to meet spend on my new biz, plus with 40 of it not being my money it's even better.

Not I...working fine. I sign on about 10-20 times a day LOL (yes I’m obsessed). Maybe clear history/cookies?
I cleared history and then went incognito and got in.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who frequents Chase multiple times per day. I half expect them to flag my accounts and shut everything down because I literally sign in, check something, sign out, then remember something else I meant to check, sign back in, check it, sign out...oh, and that other thing I need to stare at...sign in...sign out...rinse repeat.

Same here, haha! Sometimes I just like to spend a few quiet moment with my points...it makes me happy, LOL!

No need to create a new PP account unless you want to keep the cashback separated for some reason. Just add the e-mail address you are using for your second RMN account as an "alternate e-mail" in your existing PP account. Then, you can pool all your cashback.

I only add something if there is something I want. At Walgreens, my boys wanted gummi bears lol, so I did add those to one purchase (but I made three purchases). No filler at HD, CVS or Kohls and all purchases are pending for cash back.

I made GC only purchases at Staples, Kohls, Walgreens and CVS. All are pending except the Kohls one. The split payment for the $50 Disney GC at Staples is showing pending in both accounts! Still have to go to Home Depot.

@SouthFayetteFan - Congrats on getting your trip booked! Like you said if nothing else at least you have a backup plan. I'm too lazy to go back and find the post, but you had mentioned having a dream of watching the fireworks from the Contemporary in a theme park view room. Have you considered renting DVC points at BLT for that? I'm sure it's too late for this trip, but maybe for your next trip? Just a thought.
Well...that is an interesting thought. When I search BLT for my dates it shows availability for a studio on the Disney site for booking. I know that's no indication that it would be available for DVC but might be worth a shot...I'm going to have to consider that. It would actually be about $330 cheaper than the Poly room we are booking through the TA exclusive. Hmmmmm :scratchin:scratchin:scratchin Wonder if it'd actually be available...

Is the Amex offer for Walmart grocery pickup crediting on it's own, or are people having to contact Amex?
Mine did not credit. I contacted them and they are investigating. There's another $10 off $50 code on RMN that I just used today, KINDNESS. It works for repeat customers. This time I used my BoA card that had a 5% offer. Using another amex card with the offer would have been better, but I'm going to wait to see if I get credited before trying again.
