I don't remember if that was my exact error message, but I was getting it for over the past five hours until about 10 minutes ago when my Minnie order went through--or appeared to have gone through.I just tried and when we selected the upgrades I kept getting the "we can't do this right now,call guest services" message.
I was able to upgrade our bands today!
They didn't have our top choices (for example, our Star Wars fan would have preferred something other than Darth Vader), what we picked was fine. It's nice to have a fun band for only $10.I hope I get your luck.
When I checked yesterday it was around 4:00pm east coast time.Has anyone been keeping track of the time of the day that the new stock gets loaded? I feel like it’s not there when check around 8am, but by noon (CST) they are usually out of stock.
I have been having the same issue and I contacted Disney about this yesterday. The cast member even check the inventory of the band and there was inventory for it. She had me use chrome and my computer. She had no idea why it should not work. So she moved my case to IT. But I see you are Canadian and I am starting to wonder if it is a Canadian website thing. I can't test my theory out yet I have to run in to work for an issue.I have been trying for 3 days to purchase the upgrade. Well longer but 3 days with them available. It always allows me to go all the way to click purchase and then always gives me the " We are unable to complete your request" message. So frustrating. I know they are available as they have been on the site for 3 days now. I have actually been trying since the release with no luck. how is anyone getting it to finalize?

I went on a couple weeks ago for our trip in Sept and it had bugs and it wouldnt go thru to order the upgraded bands. This morning I was able to get it to go thru- but when I look at My Disney Experience, it still shows the free plain magic bands.... so I am hoping it updates eventually, since it did charge me (and sent me a confirmation via email as well.)Does anyone know what the progress on upgrading magic bands for $10 is making? I, like thousands of others, could not get an upgraded band and was just wondering if Disney is still working on it ? I was getting messages saying they were working quickly to fix the the issue between supply and demand but I don't get those messages any longer. IMHO it could be fixed by making a 30 day window between order and reservation.
How long did you get the email. Because my order didn't go through but when I check the upgraded band shows up in my account.I was able to order our bands last night!
The website dońt let us go through, but we recieved the email and the new ones appears in our account!
