How long is Hippy Dippy Pool scheduled to be closed? When I was looking at booking for July, it said the pool was scheduled to be closed. I figured if they were starting in January, it would be done by summer. I can’t imagine them only having the 2 small pools open in the summer. If it’s going to be closed, we might look somewhere else.

There has not been an official announcement other that the refurbishment starts in Winter 2020. We don’t know the extent of the refurbishment so don’t really know how long it may take.

I thought the same thing about the pull out bed. We also did not have a top sheet on it when there last week.

I left a note for mousekeeping tobplease add a top sheet. They did makes a huuuge difference. Inside too scratchy abd top sheet gives mire weight. Feels somewhat like a duvet now.

Yes, you can do this at the check-in desk on the day of your arrival.

It mentions that no matter what month you look at next year. I’m like you and highly doubt it’s going to be closed that long.

Hi - I have a couple questions I am hoping someone can answer on this thread.

We have a preferred room at POP booked (not preferred pool view - just preferred). We would like to request a room close to the AoA bridge for quick access to the Skyliner on the first floor. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was going to request 60s but it looks like those rooms are preferred pool view.

Also - does anyone know if there is room for a child sized air mattress on the floor with both beds in use? Pics would be awesome. I am 38 days out and starting to freak out a little! TIA!

I think there are Preferred rooms in the 60's, still facing the pool side but farther back towards the bridge. At least according to the map I googled. Also the sections facing buildings 3 and 6.

We usually got the pizza for late night swimming at once! That stinks it’s not on the Dining Plan. I noticed that the other value resorts have this pizza too but you can order a “slice” which looks to be about a 1/4 of this pizza with a small salad so not too bad. My kids love pizza so hopefully there will still be an option for individual meals.

Did the sliced pizza also change or it it still from the round one? I enjoy the slice so typically get it once a trip.

I can't say for certain since we don't arrive until Sunday, but, judging by the photo on the MDE mobile ordering, it looks like all the pizza is now rectangular.

This reminds me that I might plan to bring a blanket with me in November. I get cold easily in hotel rooms.

Hopefully it tastes just.as good or better. If not at least I had some last week.

I was super excited for the pizza before this change. We aren't big on breadsticks WITH pizza and only two of us will eat salad so the family deal isn't as enticing as the whole pizza by itself was. Hopefully the whole pizza by itself is still an option, despite the shape. LOL Plus, the round one looked really really good in the mobile ordering photos! I'm reserving judgment until we try it, but the rectangular one doesn't look as good.

It is so easy to request an extra blanket or two. Unless you just love your blanket and have gobs of room in your luggage, I would just ask for more from housekeeping.

Only the pool front rooms in the 60's are preferred pool view. You could request the rooms near the bridge in the back.
