I can’t believe I’m even considering it. I will for sure need to put limits on it, like weekends only when school is in session. Otherwise DS would play 24/7. But seriously months more of shelter in place likely and I’m bored already. Reading and going outside only goes so far. Looking for stuff we can play together.
We still just have a WiiU, and I like the active games. My boys play a lot of the games my girls played when they were little like Fishing Resort, Mario Cart, Mini-Golf and Go Vacation. We normally limit their time to only 30 mins per day and only if they earn it but we've been giving more time each day. We're doing school, playing board games, reading books, doing puzzles, riding bikes, going for walks but sometimes, mama needs a nap and the Wii keeps them entertained and gives me a break. I think it's fine during this time to let them play a bit more on their devices. Maybe I will come to regret it but we aren't living in normal times and nothing about any of this is normal.
