Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House Closed for Initial Walt Disney World Resort Reopening

Did anyone booked at Jambo in 2020 receive the Disney Destinations email to confirm their stay? We received one for our August VGF stay, but not one for. November Jambo villa.

I think they only sent out the confirmation email for stays through September. I did not get one for December.

What QS dining is currently open at Kidani and Jambo? Anything scheduled to open? From what I’ve seen it’s just Sana’a right?

Nothing is opening at Jambo.

Hmm, I just did an add on Tuesday for a 2 bdrm Savanna Jambo for Oct 12-14. Should I request a wait-list for Kidani or wait and assume they will transfer us if Jambo isn't open yet?

I decided to be proactive and called in this AM. MS indicated they didn't know when Jambo would be open but we would have a room either way. I asked about wait-listing a 2 bdrm savanna at Kidani and she said it was available so we took it. One less thing to worry about.

I called today to ask about this as we have Jambo booked for July and was told "some members may receive the welcome back to the magic email but not all" and that DVC reservations require no action if we still plan on coming.

Sigh, I just want someone to tell me what to do with my late August Club Level reservation. I know they will move me if Jambo isn't open, or refund me the points if club level isn't available. But the longer we wait, the less availability there will be at other resorts if we have to move...

We are doing a split stay at the end of September and I got that same e-mail for my Beach Club portion of our stay but NOT Jambo. Thought that was interesting.

I was secretly hoping Jambo House reservations might be offered to be moved to Riviera rooms that had not been moved into the DVC inventory yet. Wishful thinking. We have 2 nights booked in a 1 bedroom value before thanksgiving during a split stay. Would love to stay in Jambo, but not really keen on Kidani.

Does it show in your dashboard that way or did they just say it was over the phone? We were moved from Jambo Value Studio to Kidani Standard View Studio for next week, but that is how it is listed on my dashboard.
