I found a puppy and I need some help I'm terrible at names and would love some ideas. I do have 4 things I want it to meet - 1. Not a human person's name, 2. One syllable 3. Goes with Dude 4. Sounds ok being yelled or said where others can hear. 5. Disney is ok but not obvious ie not buzz, star wars or marvel

He's a mini doxie, currently called cashew as it was a nut litter. There's also a pecan and a walnut. Parents are Tiki and Rebel, they name all their dogs with disney names. The pic with the blue back ground is from yesterday and the bottom shows he's got white on his chest, back feet, like 2 toes and belly have some white.

Already scratched Squirt due to #4 Smoke as it's too obvious. Potentially Crush but would have to see personality and really might be too ridic for me to put with Dude.

Dude's name came about as I used to use it as a reaction word, which also means you can see how the day went after picking him up It ended up suiting him well. We had a Doc/Docie/Dr Peter Von Weenie, growing up.

Dude and I will pick him up on the 5th, he'll be 8 weeks on the 7th.

My school's protocol is that I needed to do a rapid test today to go back tomorrow. I tested at the BFs house positive still on Friday night. He joked the line was so faint, I'd for sure be negative today. I will say, w/ the congestion I've had, I'm in no way ready to be in the classroom wearing a mask 8 hours a day. My O2 levels are fine, but I'm still "winded" I guess is the best way to describe it. Well I did my test today and within 30 secs I already had the 2nd line. And it's the darkest line of any test I've done in the last week. So I guess I'm not going back tomorrow. I'm okay with that. Between the congestion, the fact I still need to grade finals from last week, and the fact I need to get groceries, etc still....I need another day (or 2) off. I'm not mentally ready to go back into the mess that school is. UGH.

At this point, Mexico can't get here fast enough, LOL.

How does PYB work with charges that were already credited? I have two charges available that were credited with the $60 DoorDash credit from the CSR. Will it just credit the amount of the charges to the balance of the card?

We're not good at names here. Our recent adoptee came with name Monty. We voted before we met any dogs and picked Sirius for male, Luna for female. Brought Monty home and he is not a Sirius. So we threw around some more names, came up with Chewbacca, Chewie for short. A week later and I'm not feeling Chewie, so I'm trying out Mack (he's as big as a truck) but DS still prefers Chewie.

After our recent MSR met in one purchase this week, I decided to just maximize bonus offers & category spend. Set all accounts for cell, Internet, etc to maximize, Hyatt in my wallet for 5x restaurants and groceries. Then I went to pay DH's BCP and saw his support offer for $125 with signup bonus $300
Since it's a low MSR ($3k in 6 months) I pulled the trigger and instant approval. I'm a little surprised because I have 3 AMEX with not a ton of spend (although I did regularly use the dining credits they gave last year)

Turns out that with our big family having a tendency to eat all the time, we hit our goal of having enough points to fly us all from NYC to Orlando pretty quickly. I’m pretty new to credit cards, I’ve utilized a few here and there to take advantage of 0 APR offers on sizable purchases, but never really used them to plan for things with points. Does anyone have any guidance as to where I might want to go from here? Should I just stack CSR points, or look into branching out to a Disney Visa or something?

Are you upgrading to a csr? You would earn a better multiplier. Or did you mean UR points? Currently the sign up bonus for csr hasn't been so great imo i signed up forever ago with 100k best deal I've seen lately has been 60k most of the time 50k. Disney card i have it just for the cruise and merchandise online discount. I will l try to use the 5 percent a little bit but there are better cards out there. Is the cap your only card?

I’m so sorry you are still congested…but please please do not go out grocery shopping etc if you test positive..you can spread it…my one year old granddaughter spend 8 hours in the ER Christmas day due to Covid …we are all vaccinated and have no idea where she got it..my daughter and son in law tested positive with no symptom’s (so the vaccines worked for them)after she had the super high temperature etc took ice packs to get her temperature down before they would release her

Thanks so much….she is back to her normal happy self thank God but it was a scary way to spend Christmas worrying about bringing her temperature down etc…

He's also suing them. Award wallet also can't track your AA balance for the same reason though I think they may have a slightly different way of accessing than TPG did. Either way both are cut off, AA is going to have miles start expiring again and the only way to track your balance is on the AA site. I think view from the wing did a write up about the lawsuits and all of it. I read something the other day and am fairly certain it was him.

Award Wallet had full on API access to AA's information. TPG was basically using the customer's username and address to look up the info on AA.com and showing it to them through TPG. The word from AA is that they want all eyeballs on aa.com so they can get more in advertising revenue by driving views. TPG might have a case since the customer is giving them the info. I read the same thing, and I agree I believe it was Gary Leff of View From The Wing.

That's part of why I don't want to name him until I get him but I'd like to have some ideas, which there were some so thank you!

It's like picking your kid's name before they are born, I get having some picked out but not deciding before they are born. I guess if they are going to be a Jr, III, Iv etc I get it as it doesn't matter. Considering how long I've taken to name stuffed animals before and they only have a "look personality" I just couldn't. But I will also pick up several to find the face I like, but that's what my mom taught me to do. I'd never be able to just grab one unless it's the only one.

No need to incorporate her business..she can apply as a sole proprietor…with just her name as the business name and SS number as the business EIN

I'm kind of a geek and into PBS, so we watch Finding Your Roots. DS totally loved All Greatures and Small so we binged the second season (we watched last year and he kept asking when the new season was coming out)

I just binge watched 'Stay Close' on netflix. Thought it was really good. Currently working my way through some of the other Harlan Coben mini-series - some good, others not so much.

Only thing I've watched on streaming lately was the new saved by the bell on peacock but I enjoyed both seasons. I watched when I ran on the treadmill, so I'm only allowed to watch it then. Helps to have something I like for motivation/something to look forward to. Don't often skip but it's the small added incentive. I need to find something new for tomorrow though, use my cell phone so it keeps me from using a few things like the new season of cheer.
