I started following this thread last January and would like to thank everyone for all of their insight! I have a question. I have had the Ink Business Plus Card for a few years and was looking this morning at the Ink Business Preferred Card. Would I be able to apply for this one also? I received the United Business Card the beginning of October and am at 3/24 for personal cards.
Hi yes you can apply for the CIP card…you could also consider one of the other no fee Chase business cards…the CIC or CIU the sign up bonus is 75k URs after spending $7,500 in the first 3 months …..if your P2 has a Chase business card that earns URs…apply from a support link from them and they get 20k URs

Anyone have any binge worthy shows right now? Dh and I are currently watching servant but have to wait a week for each episode so we need something to watch in between.

To keep it cc related, dh was instantly approved for a Wells Fargo card last week. I’ll be under 5/24 finally in march so might try a chase card.
We don’t have peacock so I don’t think we’ll be able to watch that one. I didn’t realize they were redoing that show
We get Peacock free with ATT in case you have that. I believe you are Star Wars fans. I'm just finishing up Rebels and absolutely loved Clone Wars. They are my favorite parts of the Star Wars universe.

My friend (who considers me a credit card authority) asked about a balance transfer card. I've been researching but can't find a single card without a transfer fee. She's got a sizeable balance she needs to transfer so the transfer fee is a chunk of money that could be going to paying off the debt. I'm not sure how to advise her. I haven't done a balance transfer in a decade or more. Amex looks like it no longer offers 0% transfer cards. Am I missing something?

From what I’ve seen I think all have a transfer fee, you just need to find a card with 0 APR.
DH just got a Barclays Aviator, 60k miles, 0 AF the first year And they have an offer of 0% APR for 15 months and 3% transfer fee. And they have him a $20k limit.

We have T-Mobile. We haven’t seen rebels or clone wars

Dh and I just watched Resident Alien on Peacock. Season 1 is available now and season 2 starts soon. Dh started watching it and told me I might like it. I thought no way do I want to watch an alien show. But it’s so funny! DS7 liked it too.
We don’t have peacock so I don’t think we can watch that one
We just saw an ad for Resident Alien while watching football yesterday. DH looked it up and thought I might like it also (he watches a lot fo sci-fi stuff that I don't). Anyway, he recorded 5 episodes yesterday from the SYFy channel.

Woke up to $1.06 online charge from McDonald's on my csr. I double checked my McD's app and don't have ab order so I know it's not accidentally mine. Their app is awful and I'd opened it last night after a notification about award points.

Anyway, do I have to call about this? I can't click on the pending charge in the app. I thought there was a way to do it on the app on online. Am still trying to wake up so not fully able to think/remember :surfweb:

Dell website is the pits. Yesterday morning I ordered $110 in xbox gift cards using Biz Platinum. Took forever but they finally showed up last night. This morning I decided to order another $110. No email, nothing in my order history so I ordered again. Got an email the second time. Have no pending Amex charge, two pending Swagbucks credits, and one order in order history from today. I'm hoping one gets delivered, but it will probably be either two or zero orders.,

I have an order from last week that I keep getting notified as delayed even though I already got the code and sold it on a website. It went to my digital locker and has been redeemed but the charge seems to have completely gone away. It is pretty absurd how bad their website is.

I now have two orders processing and no pending Amex charges. Been over 48 hours.

I also did a quill order (first one) and thought the website glitched on me when I went to place my order but today got a shipping confirmation.

Me and DS22 and his girlfriend just started watching Manifest on Netflix. I really like it. There are 3 seasons so far.

Charleston or Savannah for a girls trip? Any Hyatt recommendations? I seen Savannah has an Andaz and Thompson so could get my 5th brand.

We stayed at the Andaz a few years ago (I think in a suite). The location was great but I don't remember anything about the room standing out.

Well, I got my denial letter this morning from Chase for the United biz card that I applied for yesterday. My last card I received was a Cap one Venture X on 12/6/2021 and a SW priority Card on 10/22/2021. And a United Quest personal card on 6/2/2021. The last biz card was a CIP 01/2021. And a Cap One Spark biz on 1/2020 which I will be closing when AF is due. Got it waived last year. I already transferred all my Cap one points to the Venture x card. So I’m 4/24, soon to be 3/24. The letter states that they reviewed my personal and business information. One of the reasons is insufficient installment loan information. I haven’t had a mortgage or car payment in years. So I have no loans. And twice they listed recent request for new credit. One of the statement says one or more request for new credit in the past 12 months. They also used my credit score of 858 analyzing the key factors adversely affecting my credit score. Same reasons for denying the card. Number of requests for new credit in the past 12 months. I did try for another CIC card in May 2021 and was denied. I did not see a phone number to call to discuss. So if anyone has that number I would like it please. What do you all think? I applied for this biz card using my ss#. Previous business cards were from our business with an EIN.

Did you do SP, first & last as business name?

Hi guys, I haven't been on here in about 2 weeks, and there's been 30 new pages that I don't have time to catch up on, LOL. Hope there was nothing juicy I missed!

We were gone on a cruise, and I am glad to report back that no one in our party of 4 got sick, and we in fact felt safer on this trip than any other we've been on in the pandemic thus far! If you have any questions, please feel free to DM me. We were on Carnival.

We are planning only domestic travel this year now. Were supposed to go to China in October (cancelled trip from 2020), but with all the uncertainty and new lockdowns occuring there, we are almost certain that trip is off the table. We'll lose our deposit of $600 that was paid pre-Covid with no travel insurance. You live and you learn.

Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn in West Yellowstone? We are thinking of taking a trip to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons in August for a week. The IHG points price is kind of steep, but we don't have any plans for all our IHG points at the moment, and with changes to the program coming, I'm thinking we should go ahead and use them instead of hoarding, in case of a devaluation soon. We would get 4th night free, so it comes out to around 42K pts per night. I did find cheap flights using AA points, only 25K round trip for the two of us.

Any recommendations for a hotel in Grand Teton area? We don't have any cc affiliated hotels in that area, and prices of hotels are insane! I looked on Airbnb as well, and they're just as expensive. Has anyone stayed outside the area, like Alpine or Victor, and found it to be acceptable with the drive back/forth? With the short amount of time we have, we might just have to suck up the cost to be closer.

To keep this all cc related, I am looking for our next credit card to earn a signup bonus. We haven't had one in about 6+ months. Just not sure what to get right now. The trips we have planned this year are Chicago, Yellowstone, & Outer Banks. We may try to do an all-inclusive in December in Dominican Republic, but not sure yet. We are okay paying cash on that one. The Chicago and Yellowstone trips air are covered, as well as hotels for the most part (see above). Outer Banks we'll probably have to pay an airbnb so we can take our dogs. I am thinking maybe a Hyatt card or Amex Surpass? We are planning Japan for November 2023, so we could get a jump on hotel points for those. Or Amex Delta or Southwest card to get airline points for a positioning flight for Japan. Any recommendations? Probably makes most sense to go with Chase cards first, due to 5/24.

Navy Federal Platinum Card. When I got it the opening offer was 0% for 15 months with 0 BT fee. APR "as low as 5.99%" Mine is a bit higher than that.
