Thanks for posting!
I got this:

Offer merchant logo

Spend $100 or more, get $25 back
Staples
EXPIRES
06/30/2022

The Marriott Biz will continue for another year!
In addition to the $165 in cell phone credits, this gives $145 in Lowes and staples credits in approximately1 years time. $310 plus FNC plus a few points. Annual fee $125. It's earned it's keep. Annual fee is not due yet but when it is I'll try for a retention to sweeten the pot.

I need to start keeping better track of redeemed offers. That's definitely good data to keep in mind when deciding whether to keep a card or not!

I also got the staples deal for $25 off $100. We don't have a staples near us, but I see they have a good selection of gift cards online too. I'll probably get one of those or even their $100 visa for $106.95. Great discount on that too unless I'm missing something!
I buy Disney $100 for $101.99, which comes to a bit over 24% so I am happy with that.

I see regular mention of MR points for international travel so I'm intrigued as I have a daughter stationed in Germany and a new grandbaby that I need to see regularly! I don't have any MR points to speak of (around 3,000) at the moment. Which airlines use MR's and are they a better value than UR's? Currently using United points to fly across the pond. 30,000 points for a one way to Frankfurt in economy. Would prefer biz class but they are hard to find on United without spending tons of points. (150,000 to 250,000 on many flights).

I think you got great suggestions, but I would highlight Flying Blue (Air France and KLM). They have monthly promotions you can watch out for. If you can pair it with a Amex transfer bonus, you're in really good shape. I scored a 35k MR biz class deal on Air France just recently.

Virgin is an MR partner as well, and they offer Air France and KLM flights as well. I think in non-peak season, their economy flights are as low as like 12k one way. And you'll sometimes find transfer bonuses as well.
I just found a spend $1k get $200 on AirFrance.us and KLM.us on my Amex Plat. x6/5. Could be helpful in a cash plus points scenario.

Weird that they don't offer email delivery on that, and charge an extra 1.99. Paying $77 for a $100 GC is 23% off. That extra $2 bugs me. Shame Disney isn't on any of the Happy GC, I have 2 offers on other Amex cards for $15 off $100 Happy purchases.

Well darn. We were driving through a no cell service zone when it was time to checkin for southwest. We had to wait about 20 minutes and got C9, 10 and 11. Boo. Also I reserved us all under one confirmation hoping DS would piggy back our Precheck but that didn’t happen. Do they not do that anymore?

Does anyone understand the new $5/mos door dash credit on the csr? I get that we can accumulate for 3 months but not if it's supposed to show up in my dd acct or id it'll be a statement credit.

Either way I will use it in june, Sept, dec, March rinse repeat until it expires in 2024. Guess I'd also better add it to my spreadsheet and calendar so I don't forget.

Sorry for your loss. 😬 Thank you for letting us know.

It's right on the offers page. At least most of them are. I consider it as paying for it's keep but I'll quickly dump a card that's costing and not giving enough benefit.

Oh my gosh. I'm so very sorry. Your mom was very helpful to me when my dd was looking at colleges. Praying for your family.

Even though we never met in real life, I felt as if we knew her. I still have her DD's blog (South Africa) bookmarked and occasionally check for new adventures. She seemed like an interesting person that I would have liked to know better. She almost always gave us a little recap of her adventures with her family and her trips with your father.

Thank you so much for coming here and letting us know of her passing. So sorry that you, your sister and brother, and your father have lost her so soon in life. But, I sort of know that she has taught you all well and because of her you will all go on to do great things.

Keep her spirit of adventure and enjoy your life and take care of your dad for her.

I was kind of wondering if I was to use the Disney visa in the store if the 6% bonus would work. I think I would have to use the Disney Visa at the time of purchase vs charging it to the room to get the 10% off but I’m guessing unless I charge it to the room I won’t get it to code as travel. Trying to see if I could get both but I don’t think so?

I do have like $3000 of gift cards saved for Aulani that I have gotten for at least 10% off saved over the last 18 months or so but with a family of 5 I feel like that might not be enough. When I see the Aulani gift shop videos on YouTube I feel like we will buy one of everything.
My offer is 5% (presumably because I have the basic Disney card) but it doesn't need to code as travel if it's a Disney purchase; they are separate categories.

"You will earn 5% in Disney Rewards Dollars total for each $1 spent on qualifying purchases made at Disney locations that are solely owned and operated by Disney and 5% in Disney Rewards Dollars total for each $1 spent in the travel, gas station, and grocery..."

If you have the 6% offer I expect your fine print to look like that but 6 for Disney and 5 for travel, gas, grocery. So it'd just be a matter if the merchant qualifies as owned and operated.
I was hoping to book the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino for February vacation 2023. But it looks like at 10 months out, I'm already too late. I get the message: "Unfortunately, this hotel is not available during those dates. Explore other available hotels below, or modify your search. If you need further assistance, please contact us."
I'm not really flexible on the dates as it's a school vacation week. Any chance it will open up to a points booking at some time in the future or does this mean it's not happening?
Hyatt sometimes has min amount of nights for awards. Might be something like 7-10 nights has availability but not 1-7 in the same time frame OR might have a min to get a specific night, like a Saturday night might need a min 4 night stay to get it.
There has been a work around that may still work, where you book for a longer stay and then call to have it reduced to the dates you need.
Here's a blogger post that outlines a way to do it to get started -
https://millionmilesecrets.com/guides/hyatt-pay-my-way-award-booking-tips/

As long as there's no fees for modifications or cancellations I figure it doesn't hurt to play around and see what's feasible.

So sorry to hear of your loss, she will be missed here! She shared all her, as well as you and your siblings, travels and adventures here and helped enable others as well. She talked about all of you so proudly, even if it was probably embarrassingly so to y'all! Thank you for sharing her with us.

I’m so sad to read this. Your mom was so well-loved here and a friend to so many. She shared about her family with us all and we loved seeing the pics and blog posts. Your family will be in my prayers (((hugs)))
