High school musical the musical: the holiday special
Musical the musical...never would’ve guessed that
High school musical the musical: the holiday special
And in all honesty it's fairly harmless as described. Plus the pet industry is billions of dollars worth; like it or not it helps the economy because you know people just have to buy these cute lil outfits:the only reason this doesn't bother me is that I know someone who struggled SEVERELY with fertility issues, wanted nothing more than to have a child, had several adoptions fall through and she refers to herself as a mom to her dog and everyone in our friend group doesn't think twice about it.
If she wants to be a dog mom she can be a dog mom. It may very well be the only mom she can be at the moment.
Wait. What? I thought it stood for Disney too. Are you sure it doesn’t? How could it not?
I don’t know about that. It sounds like a cop out if you ask me. Lol jkIn this context, on these boards, it’s for darling, as in darling husband, darling daughter.
How do you know which one they mean? It’s always up to the reader. I will always read it as Disney, ergo it stands for Disney. Air tight logic. HahaOn the Boards it's considered all of these:

I'm sure many do use it for dear or darling but Disney is also appropriate (according to the DISboards)

If you ever see me type it, I mean damn lol

I judge people who openly push gender bias to children - "boys don't cry, man up, he's too sensitive, that's just for girls, he needs to toughen up" are all comments we've heard from people about our son - some people were family some not.
it weirds me out. and if i hear people doing it, i'm judging them. we gave my son a toy vacuum cleaner for his birthday when he turned 3 - the only one i could find was pink (which, again, seriously....?)
and my brother in law gave us a hard time - "are you trying to sissy him up"....
pardon me?
so i judge people harshly for that behavior. oh well.
I purposely avoid using dh and dd when talking about my family.
My favorite on the resorts board has always been ASSportsI am forever tripping over these similar groupings:
MDE, DME, EMH, EMM, MMRR, MSEP, EWP
SGE, SWGE, SoG, SDD, SDMT, SSE
CR, CSR, CS, CoP, PoC
FOTL, FoLK, FotA
ROFR, ROFL, RoL
Oh, I totally am judging people who put DH, DD, DS etc. I am especially judging people who say ressies and delish.
I totally judge people for the quality of their dog ‘parenting’ though. I keep it to myself but I’m totally looking at a dog’s nails that are clearly never trimmed with total judgement.
