Explain how it enhances the experiences for Beach or Boardwalk?
In my opinion, the gondolas add NOTHING to the BCV/BWV/Swan/Dolphin experience.
I did in my post. I said it adds another transportation option that is only a stroll away. And its an interestesting mode of transportation. Just my opinion, and you are certainly entitled to yours.
The location of the gondola stop at the International Gateway is roughly 275 feet from southeast exit from Disney's Beach Club. By comparison, the Friendship boat dock is over 1000 feet. So for at least some people staying at Epcot resorts, the gondola stop is closer than the Friendship boat dock.
I'm going to guess that the gondola stations will be outside the secure perimeter, based primarily on the location of the Studios station from the D23 Announcement map.We don't know if it will be possible to board the gondola from outside the park (due to the way security checks are being done).

I doubt it'll be inside the security area but it really doesn't matter much since it'll be outside the entrance gates and there is 100% certainty one will be able to access it without park admission. If they have a big enough area, it'd make sense to have the access within the security area to avoid the extra work and cost of additional screening. Then they'd also be able to use existing staffing to do both as a single unit.Maybe. But since they are now doing security checks at the resorts before allowing guests to board bus & monorail transportation, I have to wonder.
IIRC, that's only the monorail, not the busses---bus guests are checked after arrival at MK.But since they are now doing security checks at the resorts before allowing guests to board bus & monorail transportation, I have to wonder.

How does it add a transportation option for Epcot resorts? It doesnt stop there.
And the boats from Poly/GF are also checked after arrival.IIRC, that's only the monorail, not the busses---bus guests are checked after arrival at MK.
No way! Can't find a parking space now.Seems like the Boardwalk area could use some additional foot traffic.
I think it only helps if you have a reason to visit the Riviera resort, etc.
