Wait, didn't I just get back?! An August '10 PTR...TRIP REPORT LINK ADDED p. 27

My goodness... 5 days! FIVE FRIGGEN DAYS until you're back in the Disney bubble! I'm so excited for you to see Harry Potter too. I want to know all the fine details so take lots of notes and pictures :cutie:

4 days now! Crazy! This time next week we will be at WWOHP! We will have lots of pictures between the three of us, I can promise you that!

5 days!!:dance3: You're almost there!!!!!!:yay:

I love DTD! And...we never seem to spend as much time there as I would like. :confused3

Great flashback pictures! Oh and glad you were able to get your Universal tickets today!:woohoo:

Same here. That's why it'll be nice to be back at SSR. Hopefully we'll have a room that overlooks DTD too. haha!

Thanks!

Love all your flashback pictures. The castle looks so cool with the special decorations. DTD and no Goofy Candy Co??? Try the Dipped Mickey Rice Krispy. So good with mini M&M's, and dark Chocolate. Give it a try if you or your sisters have a sweet tooth. So close now.......

Your trip sounds like so much fun.

Ohhh, how could I forget about the candy store?! I also like those Goofy Glaciers. Mmm. Thanks for reminding me about that!

I think I'm all caught up. Can't believe you're just a couple of days away from Disney!

Enjoyed the flash back trips and all the plans. I can't remember, have you been to D-Street yet. I bet you're going to love it.

Yeah, we went to D-Street in April. It was pretty sweet!

So close now!!! Are you going to be posting on Twitter while you're there?

I think my sister said she is going to be taking her computer so if she does and I can get on, I'll try to post a few updates. Though it'll most likely be on facebook instead of twitter. I just don't use twitter all that much. We'll see though!

Holy crap...FOUR days?!?! :woohoo:

Yay, glad you got your Universal tickets. It's SO much easier to buy them before you get there.

Hey Sarah!

YEAH for 4 Days!!! Congrats on getting your Universal tickets and on saving some money on them! :thumbsup2

Great pix from your past trips!

Karen

4 day dancin'.

:banana::banana::banana::banana:

May I add that I am very jealous that you are going again in 4 days? :snooty:

Just kidding....well, no...I am jealous. :cutie:

Four days!! Do you know how many times you're going to read the word "jealous" before you go? ;) Well here's another one -- jealous!!!

It definitely is. One less thing to worry about when we get there. :thumbsup2

LOL. I hear ya, I will be jealous then when it's your turn to go in September.

:rotfl: I love how we all get jealous of each other. You will be seeing a lot the word jealous on your PTR too with all your holiday plans!

Yay for buying your Universal tix!!! :cool1: I will probably buy mine ahead of time too, but I'm waiting til I pay off my MYW package, hopefully by the end of this month!

4 days!!!! :woohoo:

Hey, I hope you have a great time next week. I just got back yesterday and it was so great. The crowds weren't too bad and we had so much fun. I didn't get a chance to do the Kim Possible thing so hopefully that will still be there next time but I did do the American Idol Experience and I loved it. I wish I had had time to do it more than once. Thanks for the advice on that. Have fun next week.

Four days! Almost 3!!!! :yay: Glad to hear you are getting the US stuff straightened out. Hopefully it will randomly be a slow day over there and you can enjoy it all!

Hey, we were there in Oct. '06 too! That'll actually be my next update. Maybe we were there at the same time and didn't know it. haha

Actually, that's me and my sister! I'm in the front and Claire's in the back. But you are right, I don't think I've posted any pics of mom, mostly because she hasn't been on any of the trips I've done TRs for!

Yes, we have done Sea World twice. Once when we were younger (I think it was '95) and then we went again in '08. Loved it! I know it's not in Orlando but the next thing I want to do is the Kennedy Space Center.

That would be funny if we were both there! We were Disney Newbs, clueless! But we had a GREAT time and got hooked! Here we are 4 years later taking trip number six! :woohoo:

Oh gosh! I didn't even recognize Claire! She looks older in that pic for some reason? Maybe its just the way her hair was. Who knows! Oops! :goodvibes

I'm thinking Henry will really like Sea World. Maybe we'll do that when he's 6 or 7... KSC is GREAT! We loved it!!! There is a lot to see and do, it's all so interesting. We'll go back to that for sure. Joe wants to take Henry to their overnight space camp when he's older!

I haven't been keeping up with your PTR since I haven't been on DIS as much. Haha, finally wrote the next 2 installments for my TR! Anyway, I'm so excited to be able to see the Harry Potter stuff through your TR! My cousin introduced me to Lord of the Rings years ago. Then she introduced me to Harry Potter. These movies never looked that intriguing to me because I thought they weren't really my taste, but she made me watch them and OH BOY. They were great! I still didn't finish the HP stuff, and she also told me that I should read the books too! Either way, I think I know enough (at least more than if she didn't make me watch the movies) to be excited to see the pics of the place!!!

If I don't make it back to the DIS before you leave, I hope you have a wonderful trip, Sarah!

I'll be looking forward to hearing all about it! :)

I will be going on vacation, not WDW. So I wanted to tell you to have a great time. Will be looking forward to your TR.

Have fun, take lots of pictures of WWOHP.:cool1:

Glad to hear you had a good time and the crowds weren't too bad! How was the weather? We are expecting HOT! Isn't the AIE fun? We love it. :thumbsup2

Yup, I called yesterday to reserve our shuttle so that is all set too. One less thing to worry about. I'm glad the lady told me we could do it ahead of time...I thought it was just a day in advance! But we are not taking any chances. haha

When were you guys there? I am pretty sure I was there with Dad and Claire in mid-October. It was when they had record high, summerlike temperatures! :scared1:

haha, maybe it's her glasses too? :confused3

Oh, I'm sure Henry would love Sea World. Sooo much fun! Some day we'll be able to go for a week and a half and just do everything there is. :rotfl:

Yeah, I kind of remember when Emma was still in elementary school (has it really been that long since the first book?!) and our mom volunteered in the library she always said how all the kids wanted to check it out. I think she ended up buying it for herself but didn't like it so then we started reading them later. It was right around the time Goblet of Fire came out that we really got into it. The movies are really cool. Can't believe they're on the last book already. What is the world going to do when there are no more HP movies?! :sad2: Needless to say we are all pretty excited to see what WWOHP is like.

If I don't make it back to the DIS before you leave, I hope you have a wonderful trip, Sarah!

Thank you! :goodvibes

Have a good vacation! We will have LOTS of Harry Potter pictures to share. :thumbsup2

This is really random, and not really related to your PTR, and I could be like way behind the 8 ball here, but I was walking around in the 3rd Ward at lunch time, and in the window of one of the stores there was a GIANT blank vinylmation. I couldn't go in the store because I was with other people, but it totally made me think of you! I wonder if they have actual vinylmations or any Disney stuff at all in there.

Yay for having the shuttle booked. I want to hear about your experience. I'm curious if we should take the shuttle or drive the car over to IOA.

haha, really?! That would be funny if they actually sold Disney stuff.

If we had a rental car we would most likely be using that to get there. The only thing about the shuttle is that you have to call a couple hours before you want to be picked up. I could've done that when I set up our pick-up time but I don't want to be rushed when we're there. Hopefully the service will be good!

If someone already has a car, it would probably make sense to drive to Universal because the only extra cost is the parking fee (which I think is $14). But, if you are only renting a car for that day, that would cost another $40 or so, making the total cost about the same as 3 people taking the shuttle. Driving an unfamiliar car on busy, unfamiliar roads can be kind of stressful, so it can be more relaxing to take the bus. You give up the freedom to come and go whenever you want, but there is some value in leaving the driving to someone else.

Hi everyone! Wow, it's Saturday already...that means we leave tomorrow!:wizard::woohoo:

Today's going to be kind of busy since I have to work and then we're going to the Brewers game (funny how we went to a game the day before we left in April too ). Oh yeah, and then I have to pack. :rolleyes1 So if I don't get on again before then, see ya next week!

And since a lot of people like to do the whole social networking updates...I think one of my sisters will be bringing a computer so if you want to follow me on twitter and/or facebook my twitter username and facebook link are in my signature (just let me know who you are :)). I think I am already friends with a lot of you guys anyway! I am not guaranteeing a LOT of posts but just in case, esp. with free internet access. LOL.

Enjoy the rest of your week!
