I submitted on 2/10 and it is telling me that it will be deposited on 2/17. I will be shocked if it is there that quickly!

I haven't read this thread but my return was estimated to be in the bank yesterday, but nothing. I called my tax lady who says they are behind and couldn't give me a new estimate. I am dying to pay my trip off!!!

Well yesterday mine said 2/28 and just checked a few minutes ago and now says 2/21 which is a day earlier than the chart said. But not getting my hopes up!

Well, I just checked again and WMR is saying it should be deposited by March 6th. Wow, the return was accepted on 2/3...seems like a really long time compared to many of the dates people are getting. There must be some kind of glitch around that 2/3 date.

Wow! I did mine last Wed. evening (8th) and where's my refund is saying the 28th. I wonder what the difference is?

I had my moms done on Wed the 8th too and the money was in her account on Tuesday the 14th! I had mine done on Jan 30th and the money was in my account on Feb 7th. So its running about 6-7 days to get refunds!! State on the other hand I didn't get back until yesterday so that is taking just over 2 weeks

Same here. According to the IRS refund chart we should have gotten our direct deposit 2/15.

I finally got some info on the WMR. It states that it will be deposited 2-28. According to the refund chart it should have been deposited yesterday so my guess is the IRS is ablout 2 weeks behind schedule.

This is exactly what has happened to us. I was expecting it on the 15th but no luck so far. The IRS website is showing on the 2-28.

I am in the same boat as a lot of you guys here. Our taxes where done on 2/2 and I am still waiting for our refund. I have no idea when they are coming because WMR never seems to work for me. I e-mailed my accountant today to see if he at least has an idea of when it should be deposited. The kicker here is my best friend and I both use the same person and both had our taxes done on the same day. They already received their DD on Tuesday. I am starting to worry something went wrong with our return!

So yesterday the WMR site said it would be deposited on 2/28 but this morning it has changed to being deposited on 2/22. Hmmm, the IRS really needs to get it together.

I filed on 2-7 and it was supposed to be DD today, didn't get it. I checked the WMR website yesterday and it said I'd receive it by 2/28.... it's now saying the 17th. Much better.

...just wanted to give an update from my pp. I received the DD today, just as the website stated. Thus, I received it 2 days past the original date (15th), but on time to what the website amended it to (17th).

Also read this article today that there's a surge in identity theft tax fraud - which could possibly be part of the reason for the amended dates.

I efiled 4 returns on Feb 13th and received 2 direct deposits today 17th - I did My husbands and mine, my daughters, my sons and my moms. - that 4 days for 2 of them - very impressive. Unfortunately neither were mine.

I think you must be correct because I was finally able to get WMR to work and I was told March 6th as well. We filed 2/2. Bummer

I tend to agree at this point. We filed on the 4th and WMR has yet to give us any info. I contacted the IRS and waited on hold forever it seemed like only to be told that they had accepted our return (I already knew that) and to expect it to take 3 full weeks for it to be processed and then up to another 7 days to receive our refund. So we're hoping to maybe have it on March 2 but I am not holding my breath.
