Go with the flow DUDE.....*a few final thoughts 10/19

Sorry Heather...kind bummed right now any pics from OKW we had are on hubby's iPhone (I think)

After the Safari we were melting..the plan was to return to OKW and swim, first we stopped for some fresh fruit outside the safari. Then we got the bus back to OKW, and again it was FAST

The plan was swimming after some food. I made the clan some steak-ums and the clouds rolled in. OK, no swimming for awhile. We chilled out, I have some wine, DH some beer and waited out the storm. Once it passed, everyone agreed to hit MK since it was a EMH evening Let's go!!!

This is how I know I waited too long to write my TR..I can't recall everything that night..... I DO know we got DAS return times for SDMT (thank you to babyberger's DS for the idea when we met up love that kid!). Then I think we hit Winnie the Pooh...the kids had fun here. My only pics....

After the ride is when I got to meet missoutandabout and her family we hit SDMT and Miss Kate made a new friend! SDMT is AWESOME at night

Then a quick hug from Janetb, grumpygrandma, and their DDs and DS DS5 was kinda having a "moment" so we got some ice cream and tried to relax.

Just in time to interrupt a grumpy DS5, Wishes started It was a very different view next to the Mine train which involved lots of turning back and forth but it was awesome. And it was wonderful to experience this with my DISfriend

After this I think we said our goodnights Another lesson learned from Mommy that the kids turn into pumpkins after 9pm

So I am booked for next August!!!! Poly GV CL WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY happy to be really booked today!

How exciting!! (Oh, wait...I thought I read that you wouldn't need CL anymore? )

Yay!! (Linda, which resort did the snake visit??? No more first floor rooms for you? First floor creepy crawly visitors has always been a huge concern for me...especially after seeing a rat hanging outside guest room doors at a value and mod )

Poly will run out of CL rooms if RCers keep booking! Since I cannot book until Oct 3rd, my unmentionable agent promised to let me know if it looked like all the Poly CL rooms are booking up.

So happy I was able to catch up today! You all looked so happy considering the brutal heat!! . Lovin' the TR!!

Wait!!!! Dates please ......

Well, that is the $64,000 question! I would LOVE to take Mia and Sophia - she fell head over heels with the Polynesian in June so of course you know Nana wants to take her (and visiting brought back sweet Poly memories of our many stays for her mama). BUT, huge but, we have the pups. We do not board them and do not know anyone who could pup sit. My sil is useless ....after living with them for eight years he still stands with the front door wide open...so we could not entrust their care to him...even if we had someone come in three times a day to feed and let them out.

I would love to go on my own around a Labor Day (if I had friends to meet up with once there )....sooo....trying to decide what to do on Oct 3 when I can make the ressie. Marie and I were thinking of going together but her Andrew very much wants a family trip next summer, so of course, that comes first.

Still hobbling along so looks like no more rushing through the parks for me ...but I like to stop and smell the roses anyway.

CL is totally not necessary, BUT my wants it....plus Poly CL the view!!!!!! I spent a lot of time in the morning making breakfast, dishes...etc...this will be more relaxing for me IMO of course. SDMT is a new family favorite. But I definitely enjoyed it at night more. MK is SO pretty all lit up Plus it makes it feel faster I think without being crazy

Ah, VERY important for mama to relax...it is VACATION!!

We did not try SDMT in June - oddly enough, even late in the day it was wash to get a FP at the kiosk. I was so surprised each time I saw it available for us! Looks like fun...and I hear it is milder than BTR? Sounds like my kind of attraction.

I would LOVE to meet your precious family...and you...easy to forget I haven't actually met my favorite RCers in person! Have been in touch with Linda Grumpy for so long that it never occurs to me I haven't actually met her.

Keep me posted on your dates...I must be here for Sophia's BD and would like to be here for her first day of school.

No, changes? What a boring year that would make!! You always wind up exactly where you are all meant to be....besides, I would so miss the cha cha changing ride....LOVE to ride along.

Plans are made to be broken...or slept through

Our original plan for this day was MK in the morning with babyberger....well best-laid-plans..

Consistent with our strategy...go with the flow.

I received a text from Melissa they overslept, what a coinky-dink...me too I think some of the kids we still asleep...being that my main reason to hit MK was Melissa & co. AND we missed our first two FP....well what now...

POOL TIME

In one word..the main pool at OKW is delicious

We have a blast (no pics sorry), I even went down the slide like 10x To which my family laughed at me, apparently my velocity was pretty darn fast We never made it to the sandy area. too hot and too much swimming! We has SO much fun, and once we were sufficiently water-logged we headed back to the villa to eat dinner (breakfast was at 1130am I think) and we did the pool until 4ish.

After dinner...hot tub for all. The OKW hottub fit all my girls and myself...I believe a certain little man did a cannonball in as well I made some FP on my phone and next stop...

Hollywood Studios

I think the bus passed us as we headed to the bus stop, so we headed to Hospitality House knowing we had plenty of time to catch it (HH is the last stop at OKW)

I hadn't been to DHS in FOREVER, but I instantly felt a warm fuzzy feeling once we got there..and I wasn't the only one.



The Sven photospot was right across TSM, we grabbed a DAS return time and headed to Star Tours...but first I had to try the Carrot Cake Cookie

It was delish! The girls got Rice Krispy treats in Frozen shapes/colors..and the boys got cookies. I definitely recommend stopping here. Comfy sofa and a nice "chillax" atmosphere.

Ohhh....I thought you booked Poly CL? Maybe you meant Jeanette? And here I was thinking it would be another RC August! Tahoe sounds lovely...and so many other nice times to visit WDW.


Awww...Jeanette...I just love how you go with the flow. A pool day is always perfect, especially on a hot August Disney Day! We did not get to HS in June (few minutes in EPCOT and one MK Eve)...love these pics - sooo darn cute!

Christine I wish I could tolerate the heat & humidity as I would share a room with you in a heartbeat but unfortunately my COPD is getting worse and just had to add another medication.

It is not easy with my MS either....i was tempted because of the amazing rates (can I say that here?).

Sheila, any time you want a roomie just say the word...especially off season, low crowds and comfortable weather.

Oh...but I am a rope drop kinda girl...we could alternate rope drop and slower morning.
