Celebrities in the World?

People seem to think DH is Christian Bale. He is mistaken for the actor a lot, especially when we are on vacation or in an airport.

I am the worst at recognizing famous people. I work in NYC and there have been quite a few times I have walked past someone and didn't notice who it was until I've seen others pointing and taking pictures so I could have seen a bunch and just never noticed :rotfl2:

I've seen TONS of celebrities at Disney World. Hard to keep track of them all. Let's see... I've met Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Chip AND Dale, Buzz Lightyear...

Hey, I met some of the exact same celebrities.

We saw Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban!

Be still, my heart! I binge watched "Big Little Lies" recently and I am a total fangirl for Nicole Kidman now.

A few years ago, my son and I stood behind a rope that blocked off an area along the lagoon to watch Illuminations. There was no one in it so it was a great view. A couple of minutes before the show, two little boys ran under the rope. Behind them came mom and dad escorted by a CM in plaid.

During the show, my son realized it was Heinz Ward. We could make out his Mickey as the Heisman trophy tattoo.

Pics or it never happened!!!! lol

We saw Mindy Kaling at DLR last summer. We loved her in The Office. She was with a group of friends so we didn't approach her. We did see a couple of veterans ask for a picture and she was so friendly and kind to them.

For Big Ten football fans, we saw Jim Harbaugh at DCA. We are Michigan football season ticket holders but live in TX, so we were so excited to see Harbaugh. We were in Carsland, I was wandering around, DH was on a bench while we waited for our kids who were on Radiator Springs Racers. DH texted me saying he thought he just saw Harbaugh, so I turned around and there he was, walking right towards me. We were total fangirls over seeing him. I wanted so much to talk to him but he was with his family so we left him alone. I couldn't believe it took going to DCA to see him in person! I don't think anyone around us recognized him, so we were getting some strange looks. We actually saw him a few more times during our trip, too.

I saw the lead singer of the National with his family. I really, really wanted to talk to him, but I didn't. It was at the CR pool.

I walked by a crowd of people fawning over someone who I didn't recognize. Later I'd heard it was the Cake Boss.

Saw Zydrunas Ilgauskus (NBA Basketball Player) waiting for a bus outside the GF. Told him thanks for supporting Cleveland all those years. He stuck out because he's 7'1'' Also saw Jason Castro, singer with the dreads from American Idol at Capt. Cook's at the Poly.

Guy Fieri was just finishing his dinner at the Plaza when we were being seated. At first we were like, "that dude looks just like Guy Fieri." Double take. "WAIT A MINUTE." He's pretty tough to miss, really.

We saw Sam from "iCarly" and "Sam & Kat" at Animal Kingdom a couple years ago. Not sure what her real name is. My kids were pretty excited.

Most people wouldn't recognize him, back in 2004 during the NHL lockout, I saw Steve Yzerman, captain of the Detroit Red Wings at the Boardwalk. I am a huge Wings fan, so this was absolutely amazing for me. I am super shy and wouldn't want to bother him , so I didn't speak to him.

Also, not quite at WDW, but at MCO at the end of a WDW trip I was waiting in the security line Rob Thomas (and his wife) from Matchbox 20 walked by us. I like him a lot too, so that was cool for me.

We were right behind Steve Wilkos and his family in the teacups line. We rode in the cup right next to them, lol.

We also saw a handful of Disney stars onboard the Disney Dream - because they were shooting a promo during our sailing. Our girls took pics with them and stuff and I was chatting with one of their moms. It was pretty neat.

Years ago we saw Rosie O'Donnell at universal. It wasn't a happy sighting though because they closed the park at four just so she could experience the park without us mere mortals. With the price of park tickets there were a lot of dissatisfied park goers that day!
