The Ponzi factor, duh! Silly man, do did a great report, so you will too on a Disney report.
I get three things from that.
1. Thanks Marita, that's nice of you to say. If/when we get back I'll think about it. More than likeley if I'm pushed like I was with this one, I'll fold like a cheap suit.
2. "do did a great report", you mean "Do dah! Do dah!"?
3. Shouldn't you be packing, young lady?
But here is the question I have: what did Ruby think of all this?
Lady Elle, please feel free to chime in here, we won't tell your mom, honestly!
Ruby was always at her conference. I made sure that any activities I did with the kids were done and we were back at the hotel by the time Ruby got done. Ruby would not want to go shark cage diving or surfing. Probably would not want to climb Diamond Head. Was not that interested in seeing Aulani (keep the gasps down, people). She might have gone snorkeling.
I felt a lot of guilt this trip, with myself and the kids seeing/doing so much without her. We talked about it a lot. Ruby was adamant that we have fun, and she was hoping that we'd do stuff that she didn't want to do.
On her last full day there, I asked her again what she wanted to do. That day was pretty much a Ruby day. She wanted to see Hale'iwa and watch us surf and maybe do a little shopping. I made sure that she got to do it.
She does feel that she didn't really get a vacation... and she didn't. She was at her conference every day. But then again, if it hadn't been for that, none of us would've gone.
Great report!
My Dad used to plan all our trips down to the bathroom aka toilet <snort> stops Sometimes it worked for him, sometimes it didn't. With 4 females in the car sometimes the best laid plans went out the window, I'm sure you know all about that
See you back over on Nebo's report
My favorite story about that is when I took Elle to Toronto when she was 5. It was a Daddy/Daughter road trip (I repeated it about 8 years later with Kay). It was a long haul. On the final day, we stopped for supper in Fargo, ND, 3 hours or so from home. We got back in the car and I was looking forward to being DONE with driving. I had tunnel vision and get-homeitis.
We leave the restaurant...
We leave the City...
We pass a sign that says, "Rest Stop ahead. Next rest stop 60 miles"...
We pass the rest stop...
"Daddy? I have to go to the bathroom!"
Yes, I'm wondering how many zillion pages he has to go on the first TR before he adds the next one. I know he says he wants to combine them but I think he's going to have to start a new thread.
I don't remember how many posts/pages you get before you reach the max.
I do know that POTC T ran to 171 pages and he's only at 65 right now.
