My goal today is to get through to Chase travel and get them to cancel my flights from Vancouver to Reagan. If my cruise somehow goes, I'll rebook but fares are pretty cheap now. I'm holding onto my SW tickets from Reagan to Seattle. My UR balance should be about 340K--highest it's ever been:)
please let us know how long it takes to get thru!

Argh. Stupid IHG.....IDK if its just my browser with protector turned on but it 100% doesn't work...I tried with firefox browser, but even then I have to turn off my protector that's running.... and I do all that just to see my 1 night FNC is gone(exp. 3/21/20) and the new one is sitting there...I guess this means I'll have to call in now? I should be seeing two...since they extended them supposedly
I will say that we have 2 FNC and neither has had the exp date extended yet, although we did get the email that the exp date would now be 18 mos.

I have a question about Reddit. I use the new Reddit and have my filter set to newest but it only goes by newest post (not replies to older posts). Is there a way to change that or do I have to scroll through the entire thing? I don’t like it nearly as much as disboards
No I don't think so :(

Well,it just occurred to me today I'm holding $300 worth of Carnival gc...(got at discount) I was gonna pay my gratuities with, but I'm not going on any cruises after all....I did ask over on the gc thread...but I'm going to assume my gc are probably worthless at the moment?

I know I have voted for Coke Zero (vanilla and orange vanilla) in the past and I still drink them... but man oh man does regular full of HFCS Coke taste amazing.

And yes I spent money on a card to earn points so it counts, right?

I spent way too long looking at the Pepsi v. Coke comments trying to figure out if we were using code words for some cards :rotfl:

Even better is an ice cold Mexican coke with cane sugar in a glass bottle LOL.
If Pepsi is the only option, I drink water.
Culvers has Pepsi products but they have iced tea, which is actually my drink of choice when I eat out.

Got my WDW May30-Jun06 trip moved to mid July. Its going to be HOT but seems like it will be more likely to happen. Took an hour on the phone to get the first reservation moved, He had some system issues but I got Free QS Dinning and upgraded to Preferred Pool from Preferred and saved $350. They didn't require park hopper, but I got hit with the ticket and hotel price increases that happened since the original booking. He could not touch the second reservation, said it was locked from view so gave me another number to call since that number was not allowing transfers... Called that and got a recording to email them as they are WFH. Ended up calling WDW Guest Services with the case number and got it moved with no wait.

Soooooo, Who's been to WDW in July?? How crazy am I for doing this?

We've been in July! Honestly, it wasn't that bad in 2018. Crowded but long hours, humid as heck but we most often go in August (and we live in the humid midatlantic) so we were used to the weather. Just prepare for the almost-daily late afternoon thunderstorm and you'll be fine!

Haven't been in July but have been in August. I'm used to humidity (Central VA is gross and just as hot as Orlando in the summer) and it didn't bother me at all. Glad you rebooked and let's hope things are somewhat back to normal!

I personally don't mind going in the summer. It makes it easy to pack! lol Shorts and Tanks or breezy T-shirts. And ponchos. Just know that you will get wet with storms. We like to take our shower either mid day or at night. Sometimes both. lol
And we go sweat through lots of clothes :rotfl: I'd be spending quality time in the laundry room if I didn't stay DVC!

Occasionally I will pick these up at Costco for the kids, especially when I am padding the order to help with an MSR. I don't drink cola at all, but I used to drink it when I was young.

:rotfl: I must be polite and hit 'ignore' for all the soda chat...:rotfl2: did I type that out or just think it?:) kidding...carry on with your soda talks..... I'll just file it away with the pop tarts and other snackable items of that sort....:butterfly reality is I'm a bit bored at the moment and I enjoy all the chatter here....

Crazy. But, if it's a free trip, go for it. I've gone in July, when Coronado Springs opened and it was just so hot! No cool hallways to walk down to get to your room, and the air had some kind of shut off that I eventually learned to over ride, if there was no movement in the room. So it took a bit to get the room cool again. One year I had a July trip planned and canceled because of the fires for a few weeks. Then drove down through the destruction. Only the palmettos were left. I had that Disney credit card with a few points on it to spend!
