YUP!! Lol that’s not what I found informative, it was something else :rotfl2:

From the first part? Umm...shrimp? The truck? The 2nd part is so much better. Loved Jeremy's pants, the truck bridge and the hummingbirds! At 14k feet now so still more to watch.

I wish I never had her call in the first place like @SouthFayetteFan . I wonder if he uses a girlie voice when he calls for P2.:rotfl:

so far behind today...but uhhh yeah my girlie voice is pretty awesome ;)

So many talents!

I called SPG for my DH one time because I couldn't login to his account and wanted them to reset it. I answered all the security questions correctly but I had a terrible time putting on a male voice with a British accent. The CSR was like, you don't sound like a man??!! I just coughed, said I had a cold, and quickly hung up. In hindsight, I don't know why I even tried the accent, like how would they even know he had one??!! That scared me off from EVER calling in for him again!

I'm so bad. If I call in as someone of the opposite sex I just speak like myself and confidently provide the proper information. I used to be fearful, but names can be neutral and if a CSR tried to accuse me of not being the correct person I would just stand my ground. People can identify differently. The CSR doesn't know.

Also, that message about voice verification doesn't bother me because the only reason I am calling is since no one else wants to/will ever call. It will always be me. Verify away!!

Since we are on the topic of HSA, just remember not everyone is eligible for a HSA, you need to have a high deductible insurance plan. Even if your company does not offer an option to have a HSA through direct deposit you can still open an account on your own and then get the positive tax savings on your tax return. If you are eligible it is a great idea, even if you use it for healthcare costs, instead of planning to eventually use it for retirement. Look at your options when opening an account, some have fees if you don't have a minimum amount
So what happens when you have high deductible insurance and an HSA, then change to “regular”insurance that doesn’t qualify for an HSA? DHs HR person apparently doesn’t know. We have $7k in ours, and no longer have high deductible insurance.

Interesting dp about the Chase $600 dollar checking and savings account promo.

I did not qualify for the offer link doc had listed a few weeks back so I went for my Chase targeted offer (it had been sending me emails and physical mailers). Doc posted a new link on 1/15 where you now request an offer code to your e-mail and then open the account. I figured what could I lose so I requested the code the other day and sent Chase an SM with the requested offer e-mail as an attachment. About 24 hours later I got a reply that after researching my coupon codes, I am now enrolled in the higher $600 offer and I will receive the additional funds once the savings qualifications are met.

That extra money will cover my CIP AF! Woo!! IDK if I technically qualified for this “new” $600 offer or if Chase is just matching it because I had the coupon sent to my e-mail, but I call it a win.

Just received this email!!

- Your Citi Team

BOOM - 3rd time's a charm with my Backdoor SM Match request!!! :D 60k AA Miles for $2k Spend plus $215 for selling my AA eGift Card!
YAY!! Congrats on this!

I just my card today! Can't wait to start piling up some miles. Can you add a citi biz to personal login (already have costco citi) or do I have to create a biz one? The citi website is not playing nice with me.

No idea how that works, your current fund I would think would be ok, you can't make further contributions at this point, but I'm not sure if you could take a contribution or if you just need to let it sit.

Thanks! You’ll need a separate login.

Thank goodness! I really had no idea how I was going to break it to you I got an email from citi saying 15k AA “adjustment” was coming my way for my personal AA!
Aww I never would be upset about somebody else getting something. YMMV means I might not get it but I’m always happy for my DISchurner friends :)

Well - heading to bed shortly for our “last sleep” before WDW. I have been a little quiet the last few days on the thread...surprisingly I was very busy with work haha. I’m trying to hit my goal by March this year and just take the rest of the year off ;) :rotfl2: LOL!

I will try to keep up with the thread in the evening next week! Hope everybody has a great week! And for all of those heading to the world - hopefully the weather can be a little better than predicted. We packed a bunch of layers and are going to have a great trip regardless.

Also - say a prayer for my wife. Her flight anxiety is on full tilt today but she’s coming tomorrow. It’s so difficult to see somebody you love struggle like this. I hope we have a quick smooth flight for her sake.

When I switched to a non HDHP I was able to continue using what was left in my HSA until it was gone.
